GROEZROCK 2017 (29-30 ABRIL)

Venga va, ya toca ir hablando del año que viene.



No hay muchos rumores, salvo que Toby Morse (H2O) dijo "We'll see you at Groezrock next year … but sssst” por Bélgica en la gira europea de hace unos meses. También se habla de Underoath y Parkway Drive, que están de gira por aquí en esas fechas.

¿Apuestas?

Yo esté año no creo que vaya a ir porque los dos anteriores se me hicieron durisimos. Pero si es por decir bandas, Descendents y Thrice deberían estar seguro. Y quizás también The Menzingers u At The Drive-In, que serían un buen cabeza.

Jeff Rosenstock dijo que para el groez pasado de este año no iría, pero esperaría ir para el siguiente, pero claro, todo esto, con el tiempo puede cambiar, digo yo... pero si viene estaré con los ojos abiertos para recibirle

Yo creo que va haber ostias por tener a los Misfits

Uff, los Misfits molaban mucho... Jeff Rosenstock también.

Yo espero algo como Thrice, Descendents, NOFX o Misfits de cabezas; platos fuertes a lo The Menzingers y mucho rollo a lo Tigers Jaw, Title Fight, Tiny Moving Parts, Diamond Youth, Balance And Composure, ... Luego alguna buena miticada como YOT o Dag Nasty el año pasado, y bandas de hardcore como Turnstile, Higher Power, Angel Du$t, Free, ...

Mañana por la mañana (ya hoy, lunes) sueltan el primer cabeza.. Nunca ha ido al Groez. A ver si hay sorpresa!

Ya hay gente diciendo que no pintan nada y no se que... se les debe olvidar todos los grupos de metalcore y derivados que van todos los años. Si esos van, no entiendo porque no pueden estar Deftones (aunque sí que sorprenden por ser uno de los cabezas siendo un festival de punk).

Yo este año no iré pero me parece un acierto que el festival se abra un poco. Mejor que repetir con NOFX o Bad Religion cada dos años...

Pero el metalcore si que tiene mas relacion con el punk.

A mi me parece perfecto pero si que me ha sorprendido.

A mi es que gente como Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon o Caliban no me parece que tengan mucho de punk...

En cambio, si me apuras, Deftones desde sus inicios tienen influencias casi podriamos decir del emo primigenio (hablo de Sunny Day Real Estate, Far y cosas así... nada de flequilladas ), que es algo que suele entrar dentro del festi...

Tienen el core, uno de los subgeneros del punk.

Yo los veo mas cercanos que Deftones, pero bueno, esto tiene muchas formas de verlo.

Tiene razón rearviewmirror, Deftones tienen mucho de emo y post-hardcore. Son una mezcla de varios estilos que pega más en el festival que Asking Alexandria, Attila y demás mierdas.

Conozco muchísima gente que escucha buenas bandas de punk-rock y hardcore a los que les chifla Deftones... Me parece una buena apuesta, que no desentona tanto, aunque a mí no me gusten demasiado.

PD: El viernes quedarán 182 días para el Groez, y van a anunciar otro cabeza de cartel... 20 años del "Dude Ranch" el año que viene. No digo más.

Huele a que el otro cartel son Blink, sip. Supongo que lo anuncian tan pronto para compensar a los "haters"
