Reconozco que hasta hoy no he conseguido este disco pero recuerdo haberlos escuchado hace ya muchos años sin lograr tener nada...y hoy no se por qué acordé a ellos y por fin me he hecho con el unico disco que sacaron (a la vez de enterarme de que el cantante está en Alabama Thunderpussy). El caso es que este disco me ha gustado mucho y no entiendo por que no se les cita mas a menudo o tuvieron mas repercusión.

Following the breakup of early-'90s groove-trashers Exhorder, frontman Kyle Thomas (vocals/guitar) formed Floodgate with guitarist Steven Fisher, bassist Kevin Thomas, and drummer Neil Montgomery. Their sole CD for Roadrunner Records, entitled Penalty, was released in 1996. The band never officially split, but has been silent ever since, with Thomas rumored to have, at different times, reformed Exhorder and joined doomster Trouble. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
