Backyard Babies - Nuevo disco (2019)

Acaban de soltar un nuevo single para anunciar que fichan con Century Media y que para comienzos de 2019 habrá un nuevo trabajo con el que conmemorarán sus 30 años como banda.

With an impressive track record of eight critically acclaimed studio albums, including “Total 13” and “Making Enemies is Good”, and extensive touring around the world, BACKYARD BABIES have earned their reputation as a true force of nature.

It’s been a long wait since the release of their latest album, “Four by Four”, in 2015, but now BACKYARD BABIES are back – stronger than ever – with their new single, ”Shovin’ Rocks” as a part of the forthcoming album “Sliver and Gold” which is scheduled for an early 2019 release.

The band comments, “We will soon enough celebrate 30 years as Backyard Babies, with the original lineup intact, and ‘Shovin’ Rocks’ is in full covering that fact. This is our first single in a major since ‘Look At You’, our breakthrough single from 1998. If you don’t’ love this, then you don’t love rock’n’roll.”

The video was directed by the band’s drummer Peder Carlsson. “Shovin’ Rocks” was produced by Chips Kiesbye.

Salvo "Total 13" y algunos temas sueltos, no es un grupo que me vuelva loco y da la sensación de que hace ya un tiempo que perdieron mordiente... Este single no hace más que confirmarlo me temo

Madre mía vaya mierdolo. Yo rescataría Total 13 y en menor medida Making Enemies, luego si acaso alguna suelta, pero poca cosa.

El tema este me parece una mierda, pero el último disco me moló bastante.

Pues para mi no está tan mal, no es una maravilla pero al menos es más fresquito, creo que en directo puede funcionar

A mi el people like us tambien me molaba bastante, junto a los dos mencionados.

NUEVA GIRA ROUTE RESURRECTION: BACKYARD BABIES



¡Vuelven los Backyard Babies! Tras una exitosa gira de festivales, se embarcan en el “Nordic Noir Tour 2019” y con él vuelven a España a presentar su próximo nuevo disco “Sliver & Gold”. Verá la luz el 1 de marzo de 2019 a través de Century Media Records y su primer single “Shoving Rocks” ya se puede escuchar. Será a finales de abril y principios de mayo cuando nos visitarán en España acompañados de dos bandazas invitadas como son Audrey Horne y Thundermother. Las fechas son:

Videoclip nuevo antes de que salga el disco la semana que viene.

Un disco con altibajos, algún tema bastante disfrutable i otros que sinceramente no me llaman la atención. Tendré que darle más escuchas pero lo veo simplemente pasable.
