CLOAKROOM - Dissolution Wave (28-01-2022)

Like so many American bands, Cloakroom aren’t any one thing. The shoegaze shoebox has never fit them all that well. Within Cloakroom’s dour trudge, there’s always been a whole lot of Midwestern emo, and plenty have noted that Martin uses his voice in ways that recall Pedro The Lion’s Dave Bazan. The members of Cloakroom all came up on punk and hardcore, and doom-metal riffage has always been a big part of their sound, as has the depressive sludge-pop of a band like Jesu. [Steogum]

Fear of Being Fixed me ha parecido un temón, qué buen doom pesado pero a la vez suave y elegante.

el nuevo ya ha salido hoy, y esta disponible oficialmente en las plataformas habituales

Son buenos, pero con los anteriores no conseguí engancharme del todo, aunque me gustaron. También es verdad que cuando me apetece este rollo tiro de Nothing que me molan mucho más. A ver que tal este disco.

Edito porque lo acabo de terminar y me ha encantado. Va más al lío que los otros desde el principio y se me ha pasado volando. Muy gustoso.
