Foo Fighters - But Here We Are (2 Junio)

But Here We Are is the new album from Foo Fighters, and marks the bands return after a year of staggering losses, personal introspection and bittersweet remembrances. A brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters have endured recently, But Here We Are is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family. Courageous, damaged and unflinchingly authentic, the album opens with “Rescued,” the first of 10 songs that run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between.

But Here We Are is in nearly equal measure the 11th Foo Fighters album and the first chapter of the band’s new life. Como de sus inicios pero sin la chispa que necesita un single de FF.

Pues... está bien el tema. No es para tirar cohetes, pero está majete. Teniendo en cuenta sus discos desde el Wasting Light, claro.

Sobre todo lo demás que ha envuelto a la banda la verdad, ni me pronuncio.

A mí este perfil de temas me gusta. No es especialmente potente pero tiene su gracia y con las escuchas atrapará más.

No se sabe aún quién será el nuevo batería, ¿no?

Pues me ha entrado bien el tema de primeras

Me ha sorprendido para bien.

Está bien, me convence. Yo creo que el batería aquí es Grohl.

Sin ser ni mucho menos un temazo, me la creo más que lo que han venido haciendo desde Wasting Light.

Espero que todo lo que ha pasado al menos le haya servido a Grohl para sacar lo mejor de sí mismo y dejarse de chorradas y vender humo.

A mi esto me acerca a los Foo Fighters que me gustan. Le falta un puntito pero me vale.

La batería doy por hecho que la ha grabado Dave pero es obvio que necesitarán de alguien para los directos.

Al tema le sobra al menos un minuto y medio, pero es lo mejorcito que le recuerdo a los FF desde "Run". Algo es algo.

Sin ser ni mucho menos un temazo, me la creo más que lo que han venido haciendo desde Wasting Light.

PD: qué pereza las portadas "sin nada" y los 10 temitas de rigor que cada día es más común. No creo que haga falta 15-16 para aburrir, pero 10 temas me parece demasiado poco

Otro que se suma a la causa, me recuerda a la época del In Your Honor, disco que he quemado hasta la saciedad.

Nuevo tema:

Me ha recordado mucho a Dinosaur Jr. Y el bajo de Nate con fills bien chulos.
Joder, el tema que más me ha molado de FF desde hace muchísimos años. Y eso que no es super single, pero da muy buen rollo.

Sencilla y agradable, suena a lugar seguro. Me gusta.
