Ya todo depende de lo que uno entienda por metalcore. Si para mi AILD y KSW son metalcore, Converge no lo son xD

Yo veo a Converge mas cercano a TDEP que a AILD.

Claro, y todo depende de lo que entiendas por numetal. Slipknot y SOAD no son numetal, y si nos ponemos a etiquetar Linkin Park y Limp Bizkit tampoco.

yo a converge los veo 'hxc' 100 por ciento, por lo menos en el jane doe you fail me y no heroes, en el axe to fall habia mas de metalcore y despues un poco mas noise a lo crust igual y el ultimo no lo trago, a mi el axe to fall no me mola por eso porque sonaba mas contundente y mas facilon y menos hxc caotico

Yo veo a Converge mas cercano a TDEP que a AILD.

Es que AILD, KsE y demás son metalcore melódico o como lo quieras llamar, también un subgénero del metalcore como tal.

En qué momento dije

En un subgénero como es el metalcore de breakdowns (mal llamado metalcore, pero ahí no me quiero meter ahora)

Me alegra que el debate sea respetuoso e intervenga todo el mundo. ¿Qué es lo peor que puede pasar, que conozcas una o dos bandas nuevas?

La pena es que este disco no me llegue más. Otro gallo cantaría si hubiera más temas como "Undertow", con la voz melódica perfectamente entrelazada con los build-ups aspirando a una épica más certera. O incluso más temas como "Redefined", que como corte más simplón de pura magia pegada bajo-bombo me convence. Venga, si hasta aceptaría más términos medios como "Blinded"...

Del anterior aún recuerdo el título de 5-6 pelotazos de memoria. Aquí tendría que hacer un esfuerzo bastante grande.

Este grupo demuestra lo fácil que era en aquella época vender con flequillos y melodías homosexuales que no pegan en un estilo, se les veía el plumero.

Pues cada vez me gusta más, las melodías me parecen buenísimas.

Instrumentalmente son crema, pero vocalmente me parecen mejores las de otros trabajos.

Tim está beast mode on. Perfecto en este disco.

De momento, mi canción favorita (quitando los singles) es Gatekeeper. Un puñetazo en toda la cara.

Y sobre estilos, AILD nunca los pondría como metalcore melódico... Que tengan algunos estribillos melódicos no los mete en el mismo saco que otras bandas que sí me lo parecen claramente como los actuales KsE o Bury Tomorrow, por decir los 2 primeros grupos que me han venido a la cabeza.

Bury tomorrow, esos si que me suenan repetitivos.

Pues eso, que no son metalcore.

Melódico desde luego que no, del primerizo podría ser motivo de debate de nuevo.

De todas formas, no es nada raro que una banda de metalcore diga que hace hardcore, vaya.
