Nunca le había puesto nombre, no es desagradable, pero si estás escuchando con atención 15 minutos así te dejan dormido.

No tenía ni idea de que rulaba una "New Song #3". Por lo que he leído, de esta pieza están sacadas "Undoing a Luciferian Towers" (y es así, suena a partir del minuto 15) y "Fam/Famine", aunque cambiadas de orden, unidas y alargadas, mientras que "Bosses Hang" sería Buildings y "Anthem for No State" sería Railroads, como ya está confirmado:

Tras dos escuchas me parece un gran disco, a la altura de lo que se espera de ellos.

Pues si, han vuelto los GY!BE geniales que me flipan, los que son el puto mejor grupo del milenio.

Escuchado, y me parece su disco más equilibrado desde su vuelta. Undoing a Luciferian Towers es espectacular, pero sí que echo en falta un tema como Mladic, por ejemplo. Es decir, que en conjunto me ha gustado mucho, pero me hubiese gustado aún más con uno de sus punchs. Es algo personal.

Veteran Canadian post-rock group Godspeed You! Black Emperor are set to release their new album ''G_d's Pee AT STATES END!'' on Constellation records, April 4th.

Constellation writes: "The inimitable GYBE returns with another soundtrack for our times. As the heretical anarcho-punk title implies, Godspeed harnesses some particularly raw power, spittle and grit across two riveting 20-minute side-length trajectories of noise-drenched widescreen post-rock, while another two 6-minute pieces find the band at its most haunting and elegiac."

Siempre bien recibidos los nuevos trabajos de esta gente.

Next month, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will return with G_d's Pee AT STATES END!, their first new material since 2017's Luciferian Towers. While they normally would' have marked its arrival with a stunning post-rock concert, they'll instead do things the socially distanced way with a special film broadcast.

On March 27 at 6 p.m. ET, the band will stream a concert film that highlights the band's 16mm projections. Throughout the band's history, 16mm projections from Karl Lemieux and Philippe Leonard have been a staple of their live show, but this marks the first time they will be presented in an official capacity.

The projections were shot in an empty Cinema Imperial in Montreal, and a press release promises "dozens of film loops & short reels for a hallmark Godspeed concert experience, set to the band's new recording."
