"The Havoc " es una absoluta locura. Discazo de principio a fin. El "13" también tiene unos cuantos temazos:

Muy guapo, si señor. Ganas de disco nuevo. Hace poco estuve escuchando el Magma y la verdad es que es un disco que ha mejorado con el tiempo, a pesar de que me sigo quedando con el L' Enfant Sauvage.

Pongo otro directo con mayúsculas. Me ha dado muy fuerte por esta banda.

Gojira tiene un directo tremendo. Aunque el concierto que dieron en el último Resu fue algo flojete. El peor de las 5 veces que los he visto ya.

El blu-ray que sacaron hace ya unos cuantos años (gira "The Way Of All Flesh") es brutal. Incluye 2 conciertos y tiene uno de los mejores momentos que he visto (minuto 03:30 en adelante):


Me emocionó esa parte con las ilustraciones (de Mario seguramente) detrás.

Es que es uno de los mejores grupos de los últimos 20 años sin pestañear.

Llevo días con el nuevo disco de este señor. Tiene cosas que molan mucho y otras que sin más, pero es difícil digerir entero un disco de 50 temas

This might just be the first great album of 2020. If you're not as attuned to the whole Anthony Green style of post-hardcore as I am, you're free to disagree, but Gloe's unique approach to the genre (they have "mathgaze" as a tag on their bandcamp and that's... somehow not far off the mark) sets them far apart from the falsetto crooners and wanky guitarists you'd expect from your average prog post-hardcore project.

Part of this is on the exceptional production job that unleashes waves of lush, watery reverb while remaining crystal-clear and heavily dynamic. It sounds like a dream mix for a shoegaze album, and it kind of is, but the vocals are way too comprehensible for me to feel safe making that comparison, even if they share some of the soaring sweet melodic hooks. The twinkly attack of the guitar and bass also seem like they'd be more at home in the Blue Swan Records catalog (specifically the more atmospheric, effects-laden lead work of Sianvar and Royal Coda) but the measured, patient way these sprawling songs unravel their secrets is at odds with the manic energy of the Swancore style, despite the similar level of technical skill.

I don't feel anything close to confident about picking a favorite track here. The sheer beauty of that "fool's gold" break halfway into the opener was enough to convince me I was listening to something special, but each successive track offers a brilliant new surprise, like that last reprise of the chorus of Casualty Officer, or a captivating new facet of their ethereal atmospherics and texture manipulation. Special mention has to go to the nearly 10-minute (Aichmáloto) asterías, though, which did a remarkably good job at holding my attention throughout, and even manages to indulge in my songwriting pet peeve of fadeout endings without sounding
