Ni que pintado el título del post

Dear Disciples of the Rock,
We hope this finds everyone well. We know we aren’t exactly known for being overly prolific on social media and such, mainly because not everything, every day is deemed newsworthy in our world, but without going overboard there will be days when we just might take things up a notch or two here. Today is one of those days. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, we are absolutely delighted, over the moon even, to announce that we have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records. And that we have just finished the recording of our new album! Our first long player with original songs since “Rock And Roll Is Dead” in 2005 no less. It’s been sent off to the pressing plant and will see the light of day sometime in the first half of next year. More info on that shortly. We’ll start celebrating this today with our third album “Grande Rock” being available on all digital streaming platforms for the first time in, well, forever. There will of course be a physical re-release in the not too distant future but we’ll get back to you on that. Until then, be safe!

Ahora lo cambio!

Ya se sabía que llevaban tiempo grabando, pero es una buena noticia que se oficialice que habrá disco en 2022. Siento ilusión pero también miedo. Me preocupa que acaben sonando a un sucedáneo de Imperial State Electric viendo que Nicke usa el mismo tipo de producción en Lucifer (suponiendo que el disco lo haya grabado él, cosa que doy por hecho). Así que veremos, pero hay ganas. Muchas!

Me he parecido un buen tema, pero me suena a unos Imperial State Electric más cañerillos, que era justo el peor de mis temores

Al final con esto queda claro que ISE eran la evolución natural de Hellacopters. La mano de Nicke se nota demasiado, para bien y para mal.

Me parece un tema solvente, está bien, cumple de sobras. No soy yo muy del rollo hard rock nórdico más americano que los americanos, pero hay que reconocerles que hacen bien lo que hacen.

Confirmado el nuevo disco para el 1 de Abril.

It took some time and for some years it didn’t feel like it was ever going to happen but here it is. The first song off our new album “Eyes Of Oblivion” which will be released through Nuclear Blast on April 1st, 2022. Sky high excitement levels over here!

Needless to say, there will be a vinyl release of the single but due to crazy waiting times at the pressing plants we’ll have to wait until early February. We’ll keep you posted.

Me ha gustado más que "Reap A Hurricane". A pesar de la producción a lo ISE, está sí que me suena a Hellacopters de la última etapa. Empieza a coger buena pinta el disco

«El disco tiene 10 canciones», ha comentado su cantante y guitarrista Nicke Andersson, «y aunque obviamente no es fácil ser objetivo, creo que musicalmente resume todo lo que hemos tocado desde el inicio en 1994 hasta ahora. Algunas canciones tienen diez años o más y otras fueron escritas más recientemente. Es rock and roll tocado con mucha energía. Podrías decir que suena como un cruce entre The Beatles y Judas Priest, o de Lynyrd Skynyrd y Ramones, pero la mejor manera de describirlo es que suena a The Hellacopters hoy en día».
