It’s happening. Story Of The Year is officially back in action!

It’s been 6 years since our last record. We’ve been on a self imposed hiatus for much of that time, and to say it’s been confusing and difficult for all of us is an understatement.

But with darkness often comes great art, and to be certain, the sun always rises. We’re stepping out of the shadows with more passion and energy than perhaps any time in the last decade. We are re-vitalized and absolutely intent on delivering the best record of our lives. It’s time to rock!

The record is written, and its RAD. We’ve spent years composing and stockpiling music with the intention of releasing a new album when the time felt right.

That time is now.

We’re calling on all SOTY fans to help us with our mission:

Be the best band we can be, make the best art of our lives, and operate our business in a completely new way. Perhaps the most important part of our mission directly involves YOU. We aim to function as our own record label, and have a direct connection with the people who support us. Through this pre-order, YOU will be the wind in our sails. You will personally make this new record and new chapter in our story possible.

Conozco a mucha gente que les encantaba este grupo. De hecho tienen muy buenos temas repartidos por sus discos.

El tema nuevo...bastante meh.

igual se van haciendo mayores para hacer los saltos mortales y patadas voladoras (coreografiadas) q les caracterizaban en el escenario- A mi me mola algún tema de cada uno de sus discos, de hecho el Page Avenue hasta me lo compré original. Se les echaba de menos

El disco está bien. Me han recordado a Yellowcard. Lo que pasa que es un estilo que no me dice tanto a día de hoy como hace unos años.

A mi me ha parecido un disco muy disfrutón. Pierde algo de fuelle en la segunda mitad, pero entre la nostalgia que ya me despiertan en sí y todos los arreglos ochenteros que hay y que encajan con el rollo visual a lo Stranger Things que rodea el àlbum, pues se me pasa volando.
