Todos los fans del grupo estamos de enhorabuena. La cantante del grupo Otep, Shamaya, ha declarado que en detrimento de la gira con Slayer y Hatebreed (es decir, han cancelado el Jager Tour), van a seguir finalizando su trabajo en el estudio de grabación donde les queda mucho trabajo por terminar.
Otep nos promete más poesía, más arte, más actitud y mucha carga de metal.

NOTE FROM OTEP: Jager Tour Dates Cancelled
ok .. i know this sux, but there is nothing we can do about it .. we apologize, but with our recording schedule we are not going to be able to participate in the jager tour with slayer and hatebreed .. at this point, it just makes more sense to finish the album .. there is so much work left to do [recording, mixes, artwork, etc] that there really is no time for anything else ..
the good news on that front is we have six songs completed and i am almost done with number seven .. i have recv'd a lot of emails asking "is the 2nd album heavy?" .. "is the 2nd album poetic" .. the answer to both is .. of course.
we are an evergrowing organism with an endless appetite. this will be ... our best revenge.
1.31 illustrations? wtf??? ... i know. the originals have been lost -- there were NO copies made -- so i have been redrawing each and every illustration ... if u have a change of address, get them to ossian@otepsaves.com at once ... i hope to have them out before xmas ...
lastly, i know i haven't been able to be here as much as i want to be or updating my journal as often as i'd like but what little i have read here has kept me inspired .. thank u.
