Salvo hecatombe o que la UCI se saque un positivo de la manga, Contador tiene el Giro si o si

Bueno, pues esto está ya más que finiquitado ... muy emotiva la etapa de hoy con Kiryenka dedicando la victoria al malogrado Xavi Tondo, aunque ha estado algo insulsa, se ve que los ciclistas están ya deseando acabar porque están muy justitos de fuerzas, además mañana hay una contrarreloj que solo servirá para saber quien queda segundo.

Los ciclistas tienen que estar destrozados, menudo Giro! La putada de un Giro tan grande como el de este año (enorme! hacía tiempo que no veía una gran vuelta como esta) es que igual no vemos a Contador en el Tour, y si finalmente lo corre creo que Andy Schleck podría superarlo "relativamente fácil".

Contador si podrá estar al nivel. En este Giro ha estado terrible pero creo que en muchos momentos parecía cortarse o reservarse, como que no le hacía falta. Yo me esperaba que estuviera en más baja forma de la que ha traído a estas alturas de temporada. Igual sí que va a intentar la machotada de ir a por las 3 grandes vueltas. Habrá que verlo.

Respecto al Tour a ver que pasa ... primero a ver si lo corre, que me da que los putas de la organización le van a decir que nanai, y en caso de que lo corriera estaria genial que lo ganara, aun me acuerdo de esos dos años en que Indurain hizo doblete

Hombre Gorka, yo creo que si hubiese querido, Contador hubiese ganado TODAS las etapas de montaña del Giro sin despeinarse, claro que va sobrado. Pero el "enemigo" era Nibali, con Andy Schlek a poco que mejorase y con lo descansado que va.. pelearía muy muy fuerte por el Tour.

Contador es humano, y la 3ª semana del tour lo va a notar....lo que no sé es si la dureza del proximo tour esta en esa ultima semana o mas repartida, si en esos dias puede llegar con ventaja y con aguantar vale...etc...pero lo tiene que notar!

Gran giro, hoy la etapa daba para mas pero se nota que llegan castigados y que a Contador le sobra con ir con ellos....

Bueno, ya tenemos ganador del Giro (aunque esaba cantado desde hace dias): El Pistolero de Pinto vuelve a disparar, con mas fuerza y rabia que nunca!!!!



Es un puto grande ... va camino de entrar en el olimpo de los Mercxx, Hinault, Indurain ... si no lo ha hecho ya: 3 Tours, 2 Giros y una Vuelta y aun tiene 28 años con lo cual si todo va bien todavia estaria 3 o 4 años al máximo nivel

Empieza la dauphine, ya sabeis una semana de carrera, un ensayo del tour....empieza el domingo, copio pego de otro foro

Previo Dauphiné 2011

El Critérium Dauphiné, a disputar entre el 5 y el 12 de junio, ha anunciado un recorrido que se presenta atractivo con nada menos cuatro finales en alto (1ª, 5ª, 6ª y 7ª), un prólogo y una contrarreloj larga en la tercera etapa. Sin duda, los escaladores están de enhorabuena.

Tras el prólogo de 5,5 kilómetros inicial, la primera etapa ya tendrá un final en alto, en un col de Segunda Categoría. La crono individual de la cuarta jornada abrirá diferencias entre los favoritos, pero la carrera se decidirá los tres días finales con tres llegadas consecutivas en alto. Especialmente exigentes serán las dos últimas, en Le Collet d'Allevard (HC) y La Toussuire (1ª), previo paso por el coloso Col du Glandon-La Croix de Fer.

por cierto, los que haceis tropela, si quereis arriesgar con ciclistas jovenes y tal, aquí se nombran unos cuantos que pueden estar adelante:

This year, when the race starts from St Jean de Maurienne, many youngsters will be out to make their point.

Matthew Busche (26 years old, RadioShack)

The newly crowned US champion will show the 'Stars and Stripes' jersey on the Criterium du Dauphine as a team leader Janez Brajkovic's domestique de luxe. He was Chris Horner and Levi Leipheimer's gregario in the Tour of California, bursting into the limelight in the Mount Baldy climb. "He does not have a great technique, his tactics are bad, but he is very very strong," sports director Alain Gallopin said. "I can't wait to see him on the Criterium du Dauphine."


Tony Martin (26, HTC-Highroad)
Tony Martin is not exactly a newcomer, having won Paris-Nice this year. He is one of the most powerful riders but this year's Criterium du Dauphine is an important test for him. It will show if he is able to take it to the next level in the mountains. The Grand Cucheron, the Collet d’Allevard and the Col du Glandon will tell.


Ramunas Navardauskas (23, Garmin-Cervelo)

The Lithuanian, who has tremendous power, was the revelation of the last Tour of Turkey. With his team mate Thomas Peterson, then the overall leader of the race, in his wheel, he held off a 25-man breakaway over 50 kilometres. The former rider of the VC La Pomme-Marseille could impress during the Criterium du Dauphine, where he should be able to follow his instincts.

Thibaut Pinot (21, FDJ)

The FDJ rider claimed the best climber's jersey of the Tour de Romandie in 2010 in his first year as a professional. He also finished third of the fifth stage of the Criterium du Dauphine at the top of Chamrousse last year, ending the week long race in the top 20.
The Criterium du Dauphine is Pinot's main objective of the year. Strong performances on the Tour of Turkey (3rd), the Tour de Rhone-Alpes Isere (2nd) and the Bayern Rundfahrt (7th) showed he has been gearing up well for the race.
"I can't wait to climb those moutains, I can't wait for the mountain-top finishes," he said. "There are four of them in the Criterium du Dauphine. Oh yes, I can't wait !"

Rein Taaramae (24, Cofidis)

This allrounder was said to be one of the special ones when he started his career. Cofidis gave him a team leader role that he is able to assume physically, although the slender Estonian has to improve mentally.
The 2009 Vuelta (74th) and his retirement from the 2010 Tour de France showed he could crack under pressure.
This year, he finished third overall of the Criterium International and fourth at Paris-Nice. He must confirm next week.
