The haunted - Exit wounds

Swedish metallers THE HAUNTED are teasing their fans on Facebook with photos of the bandmembers' silhouettes (see below) as they prepare to announce their new lineup.

Although there has been no official confirmation, THE HAUNTED's latest incarnation appears to include the return of drummer Adrian Erlandsson (also of AT THE GATES and PARADISE LOST) and singer Marco Aro (also of THE RESISTANCE). They are joined by original THE HAUNTED members Patrik Jensen (guitar) and Jonas Björler (bass) alongside the band's newest addition, guitarist Ola Englund (SIX FEET UNDER, FEARED).

Vocalist Peter Dolving, guitarist Anders Björler and drummer Per Møller Jensen left THE HAUNTED last year and are pursuing separate new projects.

A mi el Unseen a pesar de ser más raro que un perro verde, me acabó gustando.

yo soy de la faccion dura de the haunted quiero tralla. que este marco aro es bien, lo prefiero un millon de veces al otro, tanto en directo como en disco. ahora esperar que no se les cruce mucho el cable y saquen un disco a toda puta hostia.

Yo soy un poco como Max, de estos espero tralluqui. Estoy muy desenganchado, creo que desde "Revolver" no he escuchado nada de ellos. Entre que leía que los álbumes no eran muy allá y que me desinteresé, ahí se quedó nuestra historia de amor. Y eso que el primero me gustó bastante...

yo en el revolver me quede, que como disco habia algun tema ya que no me molaba nada, pero por lo demas estaba de puta madre. la produccion la recuerdo como algo acojonante y tenia buenos trallazos. estando marco aro tengo esperanzas que vuelvan por los antiguos derroteros, el tio ademas es un animal, tiene un vozarron de espanto y en directo impone que no veas

Confirmado el nuevo line up y la grabación de un nuevo álbum

JI! lo he visto esta tarde, muchas ganas de ver lo que sacan y si hacen gira tiene que ser la hostia tocando to lo gordo.

A mi me gusta todo lo que han sacado pero a dia de hoy me interesaba más la linea que iban trazando desde dead eye que volver a made me do it, pero bueno...escucharemos como no y a ver el señor dolving por su lado que coño hace porq está como una regadera.

Al mismo tiempo que sale la noticia sobre el presente y futuro de The haunted aparece esto:

Former THE HAUNTED and current AT THE GATES guitarist Anders Björler has completed work on his first solo album, "Antikythera" (formerly "The Antikythera Mechanism"), tentatively due later this year. He states: "The mix and master is all done. CD and vinyl designs are all completed. I have signed a record deal and a publishing deal. I won't have any more specific detailed news about 'Antikythera' until after the summer probably."

Anders previously stated about his upcoming album: "This is NOT a 'metal' project. Those of you who are familiar with my soundtrack/movie stuff for THE HAUNTED and AT THE GATES documentaries will know somewhat to expect. It's inspired by Italian film music from the '60 and '70s, post rock, ambient, progressive, jazz, and Swedish folk music."

Björler announced his departure from THE HAUNTED in October. He explained in a statement, "I feel that I have come to the end of the line regarding THE HAUNTED. This is not a sudden or hasty decision. I have been contemplating it for the last couple of years. Peter's [Dolving, vocals] departure [in early 2012] made me more certain than ever that I had reached my personal goal with THE HAUNTED, and that the time was right to call it quits. I have enjoyed every bit of the ride. It's been an overwhelming journey. I would like to thank the other band members especially, our crew through the years, and our fans worldwide for the experience and opportunity. Thank you so much! The memories will be with me forever. I will, of course, continue writing music, but where that leads me? [It's] simply too early to say."

A ver que tal el nuevo disco, me he escuchado todos, pero llevan unos cuantos ya sin engancharme.
