Por casualidad navegando por internet me he encontrado ésto:

Apenas se sabe nada de nada pero nens, puede ser algo glorioso, Scott ya dirigió la primera peli de la saga i con ésta precuela la cosa se puede poner muy interesante... visto la mediocre cuarta parte.

Éstas son noticias un tanto viejunas no? Creo que se lleva hablando del tema un huevo de tiempo y se confirmó hace meses.

Este foro a veces va atrasao en las noticias (que no se me mosquee nadie, es que yo soy de los que tienen en "marcadores" como unas 10 páginas yankis y patrias de noticias de cine y tele que visito religiosamente casi cada día ).

Around the release of Alien Resurrection, Joss Whedon wrote an Earth-set script for Alien 5, which Weaver disliked.[12] Before 20th Century Fox greenlit Alien vs. Predator, James Cameron had been working on a story for a fifth Alien film. Alien director Ridley Scott had talked with Cameron, stating "I think it would be a lot of fun, but the most important thing is to get the story right."[13] In a 2002 interview, Scott's concept for a story was "to go back to where the alien creatures were first found and explain how they were created", however he has not shown interest in pursuing the project.[13] On learning that Fox intended to pursue Alien vs. Predator, Cameron believed the film would "kill the validity of the franchise" and ceased work on his story, "To me, that was Frankenstein Meets Werewolf. It was Universal just taking their assets and starting to play them off against each other...Milking it."[14] On December 5, 2008 Sigourney Weaver hinted in an interview with MTV that she and Ridley Scott are working on an Alien spinoff film which will focus on the chronicles of Ellen Ripley rather than the Aliens.[15]

In May 2009, Carl Rinsch signed on to direct a prequel, which Ridley Scott and Tony Scott will produce. Tony Scott said filming may begin later in 2009.[16] However, Fox would prefer Ridley Scott direct the film.[17] In July 2009 it was confirmed that Ridley Scott would be returning to direct an Alien prequel with Jon Spaihts writing the script.[18][19]

In October 2009, Ridley Scott said that he was "looking forward" to directing the prequel, and that it was "kind of interesting". He also briefly talked about the time period of the film, saying "It’s a brand new box of tricks. We know what the road map is, and the screenplay is now being put on paper. The prequel will be a while ago. It’s very difficult to put a year on Alien, but [for example] if Alien was towards the end of this century, then the prequel story will take place thirty years prior.

También se está haciendo una nueva de "Predator" ("Depredador") producida por Robert Rodriguez con casting y director ya fichados:

Se dice que a lo mejor habrá cameo del Chache y que será su retorno al cine tras dejar de ser el gobernator. "Asinque" se acabaron las mierdas de AVP, ahora vamos a ver si no la cagan mucho con las franquicias separadas de nuevo.

al menos la 2º tienes que verla, es un peliculon. esta al nivel de la 1º, luego las otras aunque a mi me gustan, tienen sus momentos de desfases...

todas son wapas a su estilo, pero ALiens, la 2ª es cojonuda, muy muy recomendabble....

tienes que ver la segunda, ni te lo pienses, de hecho yo la prefiero a la primera.

menos la resurection y los bodrios VS la 2º es genial y la 3º oscura.

El remake de Depredador también lo había oído, pero si mal no recuerdo el protagonista será... Adrian Brody, pero qué coño? vaya diferencia de músculos entre arnaldo i adrian...

Con la excusa de que es una precuela puede desligarse de los derroteros que tomó la saga alien, y menos mal joder. Resurrection nunca tendría que haber pasado.

Yo soy fan de la tercera, la de Fincher. No aporta una mierda a la saga, pero es una adorable película de perdedores, con todo el encanto que ello conlleva. Con un par de situaciones escabrosas que aun sigo recordando.
