"The Body released Christs, Redeemers late last year, and on April 1 (in the U.S. and March 31 in the UK), they'll release a new one. I Shall Die Here, out via RVNG, has the duo working with Bobby Krlic, aka the Haxan Cloak. Check out "Hail to Thee, Everlasting Pain" below. It features vocals by Ben Eberle.
According to a press release, on I Shall Die Here, "the tried and true sound of The Body is cut to pieces, mutilated by process and re-animated in a spectral state by the newly minted partnership."
In addition to Krlic, the Portland-based duo of Lee Buford and Chip King also worked with their long-standing collaborators and engineers Seth Manchester and Keith Souza. In a statement, they said they wanted to make an album that was "wholly experimental"."
