Seed - Dun Pageant (2021)

SEED is a four piece band from Boston, MA who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. SEED play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, sludge, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, SEED can be loosely compared to bands such as Elder, Ragana, Elizabeth Colour Wheel, King Woman, Vile Creature, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, SEED have released a digital single titled Calico in November of 2019, a digital single titled Hole in March of 2020, and a digital single titled Seaweed in February of 2021. Dun Pageant is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on March 5th, 2021. On Dun Pageant, SEED offer up eleven tracks of dark, emotive, atmospheric, and hauntingly beautiful post metal, doom, sludge, and shoegaze. Overall, Dun Pageant makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
