Eso me hace reflexionar en los tiempos de antaño. Joder, antes los grupos sacaban incluso dos discos en un año, y con un nivelón de la ostia. Pensad que por ejemplo Led Zeppelin o Black Sabbath en dos años ya tenían 4 DISCOS!! Y QUE CUATRO DISCOS!

Bueno siendo justos,el primer álbum de Led Zeppelin y que al poco tiempo hicieran el II no es tan extraño.El primer álbum de Led Zeppelin tienen temas que no son 100% suyos y temas como Dazed and Confused ya estaban hechos cuando Page estaba en otra banda.En los dos primeros que beben más del blues tienen unos cuantos temas de Willie Dixon(un bluesman),arreglados y más molones pero ya existian(you shook me,I cant quit you babe y más..).

Edito: Pearl Jam nada,no me escandalizo que ya dije en otro post que de los míticos de los 90 es de los que menos me gustan .

Pues ojala se tomen un descanson, por que el ultimo disco casi no me gusto... y son excelentes musicos...

Al menos son integros y no "se separan" para reunirse a los 4 años.

Lo de soundgarden es el plato fuerte del 2011. Lo mas interesante q vamos a tener de largo.

Pues es una pena. El ultimo ha acabado gustandome mucho. Me sobra "The End". Sin ella seria un disco muy marcado, con un orden muy estudiado y un final excelente.

Acabo de ver esta entrevista con Alex Vincent, el batería de Green River, y por lo que parece, puede haber material nuevo del grupo aprovechando el parón de Pearl Jam (no olvidemos que Jeff Ament y Stone Gossard empezaron su carrera con esta banda). Si Mudhoney (por Mark Arm y Steve Turner) no tienen nada preparado para el próximo año, no es descartable:

J: So what’s this I hear about Green River going into the studio and recording some new songs?

A: We’ve been throwing that around for quite some time. I think the last time we kind of talked about it was that maybe we’d go in and do something during breaks in Pearl Jam’s schedule. Maybe in a few months? They’ve got a new CD out, and so they’ve got to promote that and do touring and all that before we can do anything.

J: But you are planning to do some recording?

A: Well, we’d talked about everyone bringing a couple of songs to the table and seeing what we’ve got. It sounds like something doable and it seems like everyone is interested in it. But, like I said, right now we’re working around Pearl Jam’s schedule. And Mudhoney’s. I’m low man on the totem pole. I basically go by their schedule. But I'd like to do it.

J: What about the re-release of your old stuff?

A: I know that we want to put out Come On Down again since we have the original tapes. I was talking to (producer) Jack Endino the other day and he really wants to get his hands on the tapes and remix them. And I guess that he’s got a lot of unreleased stuff, or stuff that we recorded and forgot all about. And I’ve got a bunch of old live recordings that we want to go through. So when this all comes together there’ll be a lot of bonus stuff thrown in the mix, I’m sure.

J: You’ve got old live shows!?

A: Yeah. I’ve got our first show, our last show, and a bunch in between. About ten in all. Only a couple of them have decent sound quality. The rest sound like you had a small tape recorder at the back of the room. Which might actually be the way we recorded them. (Laughs)

J: What about touring? I hear that a tour is in the works?

A: Right now that’s a way distant third in things to do. It’s a possibility. I wouldn’t say no, but hell if I know.

J: Other shows?

A: We don’t have anything set up right at the moment, but I’m sure there will be more shows.

J: Hey, thanks for talking to me today.

A: No problem. It’s just nice to know that someone’s willing to interview a band’s drummer! (Laughs)

Joder macho, qué poca verguenza, si sacaron un GH hace como 5 años. Vale que han sacado un par de discos más y los de SG sacan un GH sin haber hecho nada nuevo desde el último que sacaron, pero es que como sea verdad a los grupos de Seattle últimamente es pa'matarlos, se libran AIC sacando disco nuevo como dios manda y Nirvana porque el Kurco sigue muerto, pero no me extrañaría que dentro de nada anunciasen GHs de estas dos bandas también, parece ser que si no tienes varios GHs no eres nadie.

Seguiran con giras y sacando discos.

pues como el Greatest Hits no traiga nada nuevo me parece que me voy a ahorrar los cuartos... además que dificil lo tiene para ser mejor que el Rearviewmirror que era doble y venía con algunas rarezas de bso

De todas formas no se donde leyera que el 2011 iba a ser el año de Pearl Jam, porque al parecer iban a reeditar los primeros discos (sin contar el Ten) como hicienron con la reedicion del Ten.
