Hace poco anunciaron que el bateria y el bajista nuevo (que es el hermano del bateria también), lo dejaban... pero se ve que han encontrado nuevos sustitutos

I've written and erased this announcement a number of times over the last few months. i can't say whether it's that i don't know the right way to approach what I'm saying or if the act of saying it gives a certain finality to the words but here goes...
Matt Krupanski long time friend will not be playing with us anymore. he has a number of incredible opportunities in his life right now and understa
ndably will pursue them. it turns out when we saw him reading books with titles like "why buildings stand up" and "why buildings fall down" it was a lot more than just a vague interest in architecture, it was a new passion. Matt graduated from the Pratt institute last spring after 5(?) challenging years learning things that make ZERO sense to me and now he will put that knowledge to good use.
this is the spot that i get to with each revision and start to gush or whatever but knowing Matt he wouldn't want that. I'll just end mine with this:

ok..to finish up the bad news, in order to get to the good stuff.. Matt's brother Marc will no longer be playing bass with us. He would rather us not make a big fuss. We were happy to have you with us Marc, and sad to see you go. For all the crazy and bad news today...Chad, Josh, and Nathan will be sharing a ton of good news with you tomorrow involving the new recordings, new band members, as well as reasserting that all shows and tours are still on!!!!! Thank you guys so much for your patience and love!

Me alegro de que a pesar de todos esos contratiempos sigan adelante y vayan a sacar disco nuevo. En directo están que se salen... ojalá se pasen por aqui.

Yo la los pedí en mi votación. Espero que su vuelta no sea tan chunga como la de Waterdown (gran decepción) porque toda su discografía es como la de Thrice, PERFECTA.

...me acuerdo que los descubrí con la canción Rookie, que me la bajé del Audiogalaxy en la universidad (época de piras para bajar discos enteros que me los llevaba a casa en cajas y cajas de diskettes, qué tiempos). Esta canción me cautivó desde la primera escucha, diría que es una de mis favoritas de todos los tiempos.

Ya te digo yo que para nada están en baja forma. Les vi este verano en un festival en Alemania y fueron de lo mejor que vi. Además, tocaron un tema nuevo que sonaba cojonuderrimo.

No sé qué esperar, ni sabía que iban a sacar algo nuevo, pero el disco no me ha molao nada. No obstante, le daré alguna oportunidad más en forma de nuevas escuchas.

yo tampoco tenía ni idea, me enteré por casualidad hace poco, creo que mientras pasaba sus discos al mp3, y el disco me moló mucho más de lo esperado, bastantes pasajes tranquilos y tal, pero está molón, de hecho a día de hoy te diría que me parece su mejor trabajo, dentro de que nunca han sido Snapcase, claro

Ya tienen sello para publicar el nuevo disco, que por lo que he estado viendo en su facebook en las últimas semanas, lo están llevando a buen ritmo. Ojalá lo anuncien pronto
