Si todo el disco tira por este rollo yo estoy muy pero que muy dentro. Jugón Shinoda arriesgando con ella y no buscando algún sustituto que cumpla con el papel. Hay feeling, el tema es lo más radiable y disfrutable del año y tiene el efecto de los dos primeros discos.

No les pido más, si traen el espectáculo de dos horas que se están marcando actualmente me tienen ganado, mis dieces.

¿Alguna vez los LP tuvieron una imagen más alla de Chester y Shinoda? El resto eran jugones de dragones y mazmorras, a excepción del DJ, que grabó la serie de Heroes mientras la banda se hacia famosa.

Chester Bennington’s Mother Says She Felt “Betrayed” By Emily Armstrong Replacing Her Son In Linkin Park

Chester‘s mother Susan Eubanks has also spoken out against the group, claiming they did not contact her or Chester‘s children regarding the reunion. She also alleges that Shinoda once threatened Chester with replacing him with a female vocalist, and that she feels betrayed by the addition of Armstrong into the reunion.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Eubanks offered:

“I feel betrayed. They told me that if they were ever going to do something, they would let me know. They didn’t let me know, and they probably knew that I wouldn’t going to be very happy. I’m very upset about it.”

“I feel like they’re trying very hard to erase the past. They’re performing songs that Chester sang. And I don’t know how the fans are taking it, but I know how I take it. And having [Armstrong] singing my son’s songs is hurtful.”

She claimed that members of the band had communicated to her that they would inform her if they ever decided to reunite. She also alleged that in the years since Chester passed, vocalist/guitarist, etc. Mike Shinoda and turntablist, etc. Joe Hahn both reassured her that they would keep in touch about any activity in the group. She did admit that Shinoda did reach out to the family regarding the past posthumous release of singles featuring Chester in recent years.

However, as for the big reveal of the group’s new lineup, Eubanks claims she found out via Google. She also mentioned she took in a bit of the band’s livestreamed return live announcement and did not walk away a fan of Armstrong, offering:

“I tuned into the livestream when it happened. Not on purpose. I thought her singing … I don’t even remember what it is [she was singing], because I didn’t want to hear it. It was just a moment. But it was her, I’m just going to say it, screeching her way through a very high note. And I got out of there as fast as I could.”

According to Eubanks, Chester once confided in her that Shinoda previously threatened replacing him with a female vocalist. She recalled of that:

“Mike told Chester one time that he thought singing these songs would be better with a girl, because he often put Chester down. And Chester called me and said, ‘He thinks that they’re going to replace me with a girl.’ And I said, ‘What do you mean?’ And he said Mike told him at rehearsal that, ‘If you decide you’re leaving, we’re going to replace you with a girl.’ And Chester was dumbfounded and hurt.”

Eubanks later told the aforementioned publication that she would have been OK with the band continuing on without attempting to replace her son, presumably with Shinoda attempting the lead vocal duties. She went on to add:

“If I could tell the band members anything it’s that I feel betrayed. You made a promise to me that you would let us know and you didn’t. If you were going to do this, this is the wrong way to do it. Don’t put her out there to sing Chester’s songs and then act like this was always the way it should have been. It’s like making him go away, erasing the past. You don’t have to worry about going through the old songs and finding new ones, new Chester songs to put out. Now you can just put out new songs. But don’t bother to put out Chester’s songs with Emily singing them.”

Me cuesta muchísimo creer, pero muchísimo, que Mike Shinoda le dijese a Chester de reemplazarlo por una mujer. No se sostiene por ningún lado. ¿A santo de qué? ¿Qué será lo siguiente, Chester se quitó la vida por culpa de su amigo Mike?

Si fuera verdad A mí me parece que fue en una discusión sin más los dos se calentaron y en caliente llamo a la madre y la madre pues se lo tomó de esa manera.
Ahora la madre se acordado de esa conversación al ver a la otra cantar y por eso lo a echo público.
Y también puedo entender al hijo porqué anunciar la vuelta del grupo el mes de la prevención del Suicidio? Creo que sabiendo lo que pasó y por los familiares no era mejor retrasarlo los 1 o 2 meses todo.. tanta prisa después de 7 años?

Yo puedo entender el dolor de su madre, pero ahí hay un error de base, que es pensar que las canciones de Linkin Park son "las canciones de Chester".

Exacto, además que la banda es de Shinoda, Chester entró luego, pero la cabeza es Mike.

A mi me huele a pataleta de queremos royalties. La peor parte se la lleva Emily, que están dándole por todos lados y ella ya ha explicado la historia que hubo previamente con todo lo que supuestamente la rodea y no parece ser verdad.

Una pena, porque estan dando unos bolos del quince, y creo que la banda puede dar un paso si tiran por la senda del single. A este paso a la cantante se la cargan, es un poco de risa.

Bueno ese comunicado es básicamente una media verdad.Solo se le olvidó mencionar que fue su secta la que le mandó defender al violador en serie(miembro de esa iglesia).Tuvo una oportunidad de lujo para distanciarse y no quiso.Esta chica pertenece a la Cienciologia,se crío allí(educación etc) no hay lugar para la interpretación,eso es un hecho.Hay fotos de ella tanto de cria como de adulta en esas granjas que parecen sacadas de la peli Midsommar.

Todo lo demás son opiniones o cómo de cómodo se encuentra cada uno con una comeplacenta en Linkin Park.

Que yo sepa Cedric también perteneció y se salió como la susodicha, ¿o no?

Cedric tenía problemas con las drogas y quiso limpiarse.Seguramente le comieron la cabeza con la "purificación" y se metió allí como tantos otros incautos con pasta en estado vulnerable. No se crio allí,y como podeis ver,salio pitando de alli con mucho odio en el corazón.

Además el mismo habló de esto en la época del Noctourniquet.Yo recordé esas entrevistas y por eso no me extraña nada la linea de los acontecimientos.

Que por cierto Cedric dice que a día de hoy sigue siendo acosado por esta gente.Porque si sales y rajas de ellos está peña te busca los trapos sucios hasta en el cubo de la basura.

Mirad los créditos de ese capítulo de South Park
de cuando se burlaron de la cienciología .

Esta peña es básicamente abogados cristianos con esteroides.
