Linkin Park - The hunting party (17-6-2014)

Tengo muchas expectativas con este disco y ahora mucho mas que antes, sobre todo con la colaboración de Daron Malakian, qué pintaza joder!

Ya han empezado analizar las 5 canciones que pusieron para la prensa:

He played 5 of the 12 songs that will be on The Hunting Party album, now with a TBA release date later this summer. The band is still in the mixing stages on all and final recording stages on the rest. (“Guilty All The Same” is the first single, and dare I say, tamer than what these tunes are like!) The 5 songs, “Keys To The Kingdom,” “The Wastelands,” “Until It’s Gone,” “All For Nothing” (featuring Paige Hamilton of Helmet!) and “Rebellion” (featuring Daron Malakian of System Of A Down) were all still unmixed, but every one sounded great! The band self-produced except for one of the tunes (I think it was “The Wastelands,” which was co-produced by Warner Bros Records president and A&R chief Rob Cavallo.)

I have to say, each song was better than the next, they are all extremely heavy, and as Mike said, some may even sound like prequels to their first album, Hybrid Theory. As I said to Mike, after all the “Rock Is Dead” critics and naysayers out there trying to forecast the death of active rock radio and its music, this album will totally pour cold water all over those notions and prove to the industry is it CLEARLY NOT DEAD! This record has BALLS! And now one of the world’s biggest & most popular bands is making a statement to support the music they love. The guitars are smoking, it was all recorded live to tape. (Well, there still are some electronic elements, but they are certainly only a condiment rather than a meal here.

I can not say enough about how the reaction is going to turn heads and I can not WAIT to hear them do some of these songs live in concert this summer! Mark my words, it will be one of your favorite albums of the year!

Y aqui entra la paga extra de verano: Cada cancion que escuchaban era mejor que la anterior, son todas muy heavys, alguna podria sonar como una precuela de Hybrid Theory y que sera uno de tus disco favoritos del año.

Y me parece muy absurdo poner a escuchar canciones que ni tan siquiera han terminado de ser mezcladas. Que lo hagan cuando esté el disco finiquitado, como todo Dios, no así, que se nota el cartón de publireportaje a la legua.

Yo sigo con cierto escepticismo lo que dicen los Linkin Park de su nuevo disco o lo que diga la prensa mojabragas de Linkin Park. A ver si ahora se pasan al lado más rave de la vida...

También es que echo de menos los chistacos del comienzo del post.

Yo hasta que no lo escuche no me fio de nada porque siempre pasa lo mismo. Hype--------el mejor desde Meteora------------- el peor de lp.

Esto es lo que comentaba el otro día. Se organiza una escucha privada del nuevo disco y te eligen para estar en ella y van a decir ¿que mierda es esto? por tanto hay que tomarselo con cuidado.

Para mí la clave va a ser el segundo single que presumiblemente presentarán antes de iniciar la gira europea. El primer single sonaba muy bien y por lo que se está leyendo hay canciones mucho más pesadas, ojalá sea cierto.

Fake? Demasiado tiempo libre? XD

Tiene pinta de Fake, sí xD.

Es que cualquier cosa se queda corto. xD Y todavía no he llegado a la parte de la entrevista, he parado de leer en ese "learn to love", miedo me da.

No sé cómo clasificar a este hombre, pero las conversaciones con él deben de ser del palo:

La portada es un poco chusta, no?

La portada es chula pero ya les vale con el blanco-negro que las ultimas 4 portadas son muy parecidas.



Mike: En cuanto a dureza, guilty all the same esta por la mitad comparado con el resto del album.

El titulo del disco y de las canciones suenan agresivas. Confirmamos que tendra muchas guitarras pero... tendremos buenos gritos de chester? en el 1 single tuvo la oportunidad de lucirse y no lo hizo. Es una de las dudas que tengo.

En nada tendremos nuevos lptv y eso me hizo recordar este video de la era anterior:
