En ese setlist falta People = shit, pero no porque no la tocaran, sino porque se les ha olvidado ponerla.

Esto es lo que más me jode de todo. All Hope is Gone habrá quien le parezca un discazo, a mi me parece el album más flojo de todos y se aleja mucho de los que fue Slipknot en su día, a veces parece que estás escuchando un disco de Stone Sour con tanta melodía. Este tio debería de aprender a diferenciar una banda de otra y no mezclar los estilos porque en mi opinión si sigue así la esta cagando.

Y que lo diga Corey pues sí, lo hace más oficial xD

A mi también me parece que AHIG es el más flojo de todos. Tiene algún tema destacable (para mi, psychosocial es mejor que duality por ejemplo), pero tiene muchos flojos. Incluso algunos de los temás más cañeros los veo sin la energía de antes. Por lo menos, la era de este último disoc nos ha traido a Corey en mucha mejor forma que en las giras del Vol 3.

A ver si sacan disco, y que sea decente por favor. Que no se puede vivir eternamente de 2 y medio.

lipknot drummer Joey Jordison has spoken with Metal Hammer in regards to his new side project which he has been working on in the studio as of late. According to Jordison, the project will indeed feature guitar playing from Jed Simon (ex-Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (Threat Signal, ex-Darkest Hour). Furthermore, Chris Vrenna (ex-Nine Inch Nails) will be handling the keyboards and electronics while an ”unknown guy” named Henry will be handling the vocals.

Jordison told the publication:

“I’d been working on new Slipknot material since the end of the All Hope Is Gone tour cycle but I ended up with so much stuff I had to take a step back and stop working on it. The time wasn’t right. But I came up with a bunch of material that was really killer and heavy and started taking some of it in a different direction.
I started focusing on a lot of the post-punk and industrial stuff that I’ve always loved and started putting super heavy and brutal guitars over the top of it. That’s how it started. It’s taken me a couple of years to get to this point, but I can honestly say this is the most satisfied I’ve ever been in the studio. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this shit.
I’ve done the bulk of the work in the studio but now I’ve got Jed and Kris to play lead guitar on everything, Chris is doing the keyboards and synths and all that stuff and I have an unknown guy on vocals.
His name’s Henry and he’s super talented and a great vocalist. I didn’t want someone from a known band singing in this band, because then it just becomes some supergroup thing and that’s not what this is.”

También es verdad que prefiero que no saquen nada y sigan dando directos de vez en cuando, a que saquen algo mediocre que desplace a temas de verdad en los setlists....

Pues mi disco preferido de estos es el All Hope Is Gone, con diferencia. Sobretodo por Gematria

Vamos, a mí me parece el mejor tema de All Hope Is Gone, el temazo del disco. Yo cuando sacaron el disco la daba por supuesta en directo, y ni por el forro, y es algo que no entiendo.

Recuerdo que el inicio del disco con Gematria, Sulphur(era asi?) y Psichosocial me encantaba. Y Gematria la mejor sin duda, trallazo considerable.
