Una pena que labradford se disolvieran.

Y tanto. Pero bueno, todavía nos queda dónde rascar, ¿eh?

No conozco nada de sus otros proyectos, a ver si me pongo con alguno que la verdad hasta hacía tiempo que no me escuchaba nada de labradford. Mi Media Naranja y el Fixed molan lo suyo.

Sigo ofuscado en el post rock noventero y voy a poner uno de sus grupos más especiales, Trans Am. En realidad, de los que he escuchado solo me gusta mucho un disco, "Surrender To The Night", pero es que me gusta mucho, pero que mucho. No es post rock al uso, hay influencias kraftwerkianas, ambientales, desarrollos más rocosos... En definitiva, es una ensalada con diferentes ingredientes que me chifla. Os pongo varios ejemplos:

Vamos bien, Trans am me molan, pero en pequeñas dosis, es un grupo con una propuesta muy interesante, pero que no tarda en saturar (en mi caso), algo parecido a lo que me pasa con The Locust. De Joan of arc me molan más sus primeros discos, estuve muy enganchado a lo que hacía el Kinsella (creo) durante una buena temporada.

Tras unos cuantos días sin postear nada, y por llevar la contraria a la gente que piensa que nos creemos especiales por escuchar grupos poco conocidos, que no raros, voy a poner un tema de mi disco preferido de Nirvana. Nunca me gustó ni me ha gustado el grunge, pero es que a Nirvana los veo más cercanos a Jesus Lizard o a grupos de punk chirriante de su época (Butthole surfers, Flipper) que a Pearl Jam-



Y bueno, os voy a poner otra cosa por si me tiro otras dos semanas sin poner nada.

Rega son de Tokyo y hacen mathrock japonés, pero desde mi punto de vista le dan un toque muy divertido y menos de somos máquinas tocando con ese bajo funky que tienen y una batería simple pero muy efectiva que hace que no pares de bailar cuando lo escuchas.

Se confirma que este post es una mina de diamante por lo menos...

Por la cuenta que me trae, solo conocía de leídas a Joan Of Arc y Labradford, y están muy bien.

De Joan Of Arc me ha gustado el toque chulo emo noventero y Labradford me ha parecido ambient de categoría.

Seguimos con post rock noventero "cantado" de la mano de Aurore Rien. Tienen un LP que está muy bien llamado Sedative for the Celestial Blue del 99, del que extraigo un tema muy melancólico y bello. Además editaron un EP bastante recomendable si os interesa el estilo llamado Telesthesia.

Como curiosidad apuntar que los dos miembros de Aurore Rien después de disolver el grupo formaron Lights Out Asia, más conocidos dentro del mundillo con obras tan importantes como el Eyes Like Brontide.
A ver que os parecen...

Nunca fui mucho de Nirvana, seguramente por mis prejuicios por todo el bombo exagerado que se les dio (y por ser un trve de pacotilla, porque negarlo, jaja), pero ellos tampoco tenían la culpa. Temazos tienen pero nunca me engancharon.

Muy molones los Rega. Como dices son más terrenales y divertidos, tocando muy bien sus instrumentos pero sin llegar al virtuosismo de unos Lite por ejemplo. Otros a la buchaca.

Ya que estoy on fire y no tengo alumnos hoy, subimos la apuesta con Sun City Girls, grupo extraño donde los haya y con chorrocientos álbumes, cada cual de su padre y su madre, pero con un denominador común de que se ponían hasta arriba de ácido, porque hay algunos temas que tela, jajja.. Paso de definirlos, lo dejo a que son rituales musicales..

Ácido, sólo con escucharlo me gusta, y qué bien que ha hecho en la música. Después me los pongo, pero el nombre me suena de algo.

Nirvana siempre me han gustado, menos el acústico, pero no me mola toda la parefernalia que hay alrededor, y de sus discos me quedo con In utero (dios salve a Albini) y el Bleach. Además, aprendí a tocar el bajo con ellos, jajaja.

Has probado con último de Lite, han bajado en rapidez y han ganado en matices, For all the inocence me lo pusé el otro día despues del Phantasia y es muchísimo más ameno, incluso se me hizo corto.

Con Lite me quedé en al Phantasia, no he oído nada más de ellos.

Este último tiene un toque a lo último de Battles, el disco entra del tirón y mira que un disco de math de más de 25 min me ralla sobremanera. Los eps están muy bien, tengo todos, pero el que más he escuchado es el Turns Red.

En definitiva y dejo de darte la chapa, que parece que voy a comisión, han reducido un poco la velocidad y han ganado en matices que se aprecian sin acabar epiléptico.

A veces pienso que a flibor y a cesar o gusta absolutamente todo lo que existe en el mundo tiene que dar gusto.

En mi última visita al país del sol naciente pude satisfacer mi melomanía y me pillé una balda entera de cds en una tienda de 2ª mano. Me hice con los 4 primeros de Té y un par de Toe (prefiero a los primeros, tralla de la buena y un bajo que suena pesado pesado) y el dependiente flipaba porque no paraba de preguntarle por grupos de allí. Por si a alguien le interesa, la tienda estaba en shimokitazawa en la calle principal y creo recordar que se llamaba Dorama, ¿por qué lo digo?, porque en general los cds allí tienen precios desorbitados (25-30 ecus) y pude pillarme la discografía de Tortoise a 5 euros al cambio cada uno.

Que gozada ir a Japón, que envidia..
No he tenido aún la suerte de visitar el país pero imagino lo increíble que debe ser ir a las tiendas de música y pulir el dinero.

Yo he estado varias veces que me he hecho algunos cursos allí, Y no es tan caro como parece, siempre que no vayas en primavera para ver los cerezos en flor, pero ya está aquí el valle del jerte para eso y te pilla más a mano desde Turkey. Los precios en general son parecidos a Madrid o Barcelona e incluso la ropa/calzado es más barata. Eso sí, los discos como ya te he dicho precios desorbitados teniendo amazon.

Muy fan de lo que habéis puesto últimamente. Con los japos se me iba solo el pie y los de Flei súper interesantes, música etérea y con muchos matices.

Bueno, maceto, unas cosas me gustan más que otras, claro, pero en general tiendo a oír cosas interesantes en todos los géneros. Y la verdad que por un lado está bien, pero por otro es un tanto extenuante ser consciente de que hay tanta música chachi que escuchar.

Y respecto al metalcore, que cada palo aguante su brikindens. No digo más
