The Gaslight Anthem - Get Hurt (19 Agosto)

Lo he visto un poco de pasada y habia mucha gente quejandose de que eso deberían hacerlo para los que son del club de fans o no sé que movida. No me he enterado muy bien porque a mi estas cosas de los meet and greet o como se llamen no me van mucho, pero está guay saber que tienen en cuenta lo que piensa la gente de ellos...

El disco aún gustandome lo veo un poco inferior al Handwritten.

Pues parece que se van a tomar un tiempo. Era previsible. Desde 2008 no ha parado y ya el último era un pequeño bajón respecto a los anteriores. Se les nota que necesitan un respiro.

Hello all!
We wanted to let everyone know that we'll all be taking a break from The Gaslight Anthem after this next European tour in August. We're all going to do other projects and stay active in some way or another, both in and out of music, but we'd like to step away from the band until we decide what we'd like to do next.

We'd like to recharge and take a step back until we have something we feel excited about rather than going right back to making a record just for the sake of making the next record. We all feel this is the best decision we can make and it feels like the right one for us.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our band for the last eight years and we'll see you down the road!

Pues me parece bien. El Get Hurt es el que menos me ha molado de ellos y creo que les vendrá guay tomar ese respiro y volver ya cuando estén con ganas de sacar algo guay.

Además, total, por España ya no pasan...

Bueno, aunque se les daba por separados, parecía cuestión de tiempo que Fallon acabase retomando el grupo. Lo único que resulta un tanto raro ahora que va a sacar disco nuevo en solitario... Y también habrá que ver la formación, porque dudo que Alex Levine, el bajista, esté dentro.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of The '59 Sound, The Gaslight Anthem will perform their milestone album in its entireity at a series of special shows starting May 27th. Fan presale begins Tuesday, Jan 30th at 12 pm local time (password: 59SOUND). Public onsale begins on Friday, February 2nd at 12 pm local time.
