Ghost: ¿Nuevo disco "Sequelle" en 2019?

Leído ahora mismo en Diablorock. No sé hasta que punto son sólo conjeturas o de verdad puede haber algo detrás... ¿Qué os parece?

Hombre, conjeturas son por ahora. Pero no me extrañaría que ocurriera, la verdad.

Tobias ya confirmó hace tiempo que no habría EP de versiones en esta nueva era de Ghost, eso es cierto... Pero quizás sacar un EP con canciones nuevas a mitad de la gira puede que tenga incluso más sentido que un disco nuevo entero. El Cardinal se convertiría en Papa, tendrían canciones nuevas y podrían renovar el espectáculo y el repertorio girando así otro año más. Le veo bastante sentido.

Cualquier cosa es bienvenida y mucho mejor si son temas originales.

With the touring cycle for their latest album “Prequelle” well underway, Ghost have a busy 2019 ahead of them. Next year will so busy in fact that it it is unlikely that they will be unable to hit the studio properly for a new album until the spring of 2020. Speaking on that recently with Loudwire, the band’s mastermind Tobias Forge commented:

“From our perspective, at least, 2019 is already over. That doesn’t limit me from writing or starting the steps, but when it comes to having a consecutive three months [for] studio time, there is no such time in 2019. That will happen, probably, in Spring 2020. Then you have to add like three months of waiting between recording and releasing. So yeah, you see where I’m going.”
