Chamber music, loud riffs, pure choirs, electronic textures, This first album from OGIVES, "La mémoiredes orages" (The Memory of Storms) is a myriad of contrasts. The double LP offers long and dense tracks, symmetrically arranged into a 75 minutes melancholic epic.
These pieces revolve around the themes of the perception of time and the perspective of death.The classical composing techniques such as tintinnabuli, polytonality and counterpoints intertwine the post and prog rock legacy, while the electronic textures of modular synths embrace the pure classical female vocals.Moreover OGIVES' music finds its inspiration in the ancient European music and in its inherent spirituality. Byzantine chants, baroque counterpoints, Old Roman monodies all are elements in the background of the band's composing style.

Oye, pinta muy muy guay ésto, muy interesante. Como pega, que vuelve a estar EL PUTO SAXOFÓN ATRAVESADO, que no sé qué pasa últimamente que no hay grupo con aires experimentales que no lo usen, pero pinta a algo bueno todo ésto.

La verdad es que sí pinta muy bien, sobre todo las partes no instrumentales me han convencido más.
