FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH - The Wrong Side... (23 Julio)

Five Finger Death Punch will release The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 on July 23, while Volume 2 is scheduled for later this fall. Eleven Seven will release the albums outside of North America. Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory recently shared, “We came off the road after a couple of great years of touring and were really amped up to write the 4th record. Everybody was in the right headspace and the band tighter than ever so it was a perfect storm. We jumped in head first and found ourselves 12-13 songs deep fairly quick but were still coming up with better and better material so we looked at each other and said…. ok why stop there? Let’s keep going. Once we passed the 24th song we knew we’re going to have to do two albums. We had this massive amount of music that’s very dear to us, possibly the best material this band has ever created. At that point there was no way to decide which songs to leave off one album. So we made the decision to release them all.”

No tenia ni pajolera idea de que sacaban nuevo disco ya, y ya está el single (con Rob Halford). En su linea, riffs sencillos y brutotes (que me ponen mucho), y una linea vocal vacilona que engancha.



Lo que no entiendo es la moda de los discos dobles, sobre todo ahora también en estilos como estos que me parecen la antítesis a ello.

Es un grupo que siempre he tenido pendiente... A ver si me pongo con ellos aprovechando que sacan nuevo disco. ¿Cuál de los 3 que tienen hasta ahora me recomendáis para empezar?.

PD: Para el que no lo sepa, el cantante tuvo un par de bandas antes cojonudas: Motograter y sobre todo Ghost Machine ("Hypersensitive" me parece un discazo). Tiene una voz que me encanta.

Yo sólo he escuchado el último, el American Capitalist, que me parece cojonudo. No se cómo serán los demás, pero ese te lo aconsejo.

No estaba mal el último disco, algunos temas me sonaban a stone sour. A ver que tal estos 2...

A mi el tono voz siempre me ha recordado al de Corey.

Me bajé un disco de esta peña y no veas que horror...

Uff, el tema está bien, pero que poco me gusta ese rollo que llevan...

Hace unos cuantos años a mi molaba bastante esta canción (supongo que sea de su primer trabajo), aunque como dije no llegué a escuchar ningún disco suyo:

El disco tiene algunos temas diferentes, pero ese es el rollito que llevan ahora. Me temo que o te gusta, o prueba con los anteriores

Como ya se dijo por aquí, ahora parecen los Limp Bizkit con ese rollo. Personalmente es un grupo que me encanta, tiene un vozarrón de la hostia, y los mejores temas están en los discos y no en los singles como mucho grupos del rollo.
