New York hardcore legends Madball have announced that they will release their upcoming album “Hardcore Lives” on June 27, 2014 through Nuclear Blast Records.

“Hardcore Lives” was tracked and engineered by Unearth guitarist Ken Susi and was mastered by Chris Harris (Hatebreed, Soulfly, Terror, Whitechapel). Furthermore, there will also be some notable guest appearances, with Scott Vogel of Terror and Toby Morse of H2O.

El empire flojo? Bueno no destaca en nada respecto a los anteriores, pero malo malo tampoco es...

The New York hardcore legends in Madball have entered the studio to begin work on their 8th full-length release, and the first since 2010's "Empire."

The band is recording basic tracks with Unearth's guitarist Ken Susi at System Recordings in Grafton, Massachusetts. Additional recordings will take place at Pinecrust Studios, in Miami, Florida with Jonathan Nuñez at the helm.

The band will hand over mixing duties to producer/mixer Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who worked with the band on "Legacy" (2005) and "Infiltrate The System" (2007).

The still-untitled album will feature some special guest appearances to be announced later and is slated for a mid summer release.

Commented the band:

"We are currently in the studio... about to wrap up our new record next week...we are feeling very excited and enthusiastic about the material and hope those that eventually hear it will feel the same! It has all the elements you'd want to hear from us of course. But, it also has some 'newer' elements that actually have more of a 'throw-back' vibe, if that makes sense. Influences from music we grew up with i.e. It'll always have the MB stamp on it though. You all will have to be the ultimate judges...prepare yourselves! Hardcore lives..."
