Havok - Unnatural Selection - 25 Junio

Y con respecto al último disco, se me ha desinflado bastante, no se acerca ni por asomo a la obra maestra que es el primero. Le falta un poco de fuerza.

opino lo mismo. las primera mitad esta wapa, el tema que abre tiene un rollo crossovero adrenalinico muy guapo y el tercer tema me parece superior, el mas fresco del disco y suyo en general, pero luego ya pincha un poco. hay un par de temas muy megadeth post-rust in peace bastante monotonos y luego la version de sabbath, que mola porque es sabbath, pero es un poco insulsilla.

por otro lado, y sin venir mucho a cuento, estuve escuchando el ultimo de savage messiah, que es un rollo mas jebilon y me gusto mucho, tienen un aire a las melodias epicas de grand magus y buena cera. pena no haber podido el martes a verles en bilbo

Yo me los perdí la otra vez que vinieron (tocaba con mi grupo ese día) y me los perderé el viernes de nuevo (ayudo a montar un concierto).

Y también coincido que este último disco es un poco regulero, no me ha enganchado nada comparado con el anterior.

Pues a mi no me parece que baje demasiado el nivel respecto al anterior. Esta bien el disco.

Time is up es mejor, pero éste último está de puta madre también. Qué pena que la gira no pase por Asturias. Los dos juntos deben partir la pana a base de bien.

Bueno, pues estos hachas acaban de firmar con Century Media Records... Hogar de sus amigos Angelus Apatrida, entre otros.
Bien por ellos, estos tíos son brutales.

Buena noticia. Les veremos en el Resu gustosamente.

De los grupos que más ganas tengo de ver, por nivel deberian de tocar más de 30 minutos pero veremos.

Thrash-metal stalwarts HAVOK are thrilled to announce the details of their upcoming new studio album, titled Conformicide. The Denver based group will unleash their fourth full-length record on March 10th, 2017 via Century Media, along with touring in both North America and Europe next year to support the release. Conformicide is the follow up to the band's 2013 effort, "Unnatural Selection". Discussing what fans can expect from the new record, David Sanchez (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) comments:

Vamos, que va a ser lo mejor que han grabado nunca y bla, bla... Pero confianza en ellos, en este supuesto revival thrash no se habla mucho de Havok y no me parecen peores que Angelus Apatrida o Warbringer por ejemplo... De hecho, de lo que han grabado "Time is Up" me parece un discazo. "Unnatural selection" es buen álbum también pero no tanto como el anterior. Hay ganas de algo nuevo, tuve oportunidad de verles en directo hará 4 años y menudos sobrados, hasta hicieron un wall of death en la sala en la que tocaban, que era peqeñísima XD.

Evidentemente están en el top de thrash revival, ya solo por su disco debut se lo merecen, aunque el siguiente era un poco más flojo. Ganazas de saber algo más del disco.

Pues si, la produccion algo descompensada no? Parece una premezcla o algo de eso.

Tiene alguna parte chula, pero me ha dejado frio tambien.

No está mal pero le falta punch. Y me parece innecesariamente larga. Parece un intento de ellos de volverse más progresivos o algo...

Lástima que no se oiga bien la voz pero por lo demás promete.
