Last May we travelled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama (USA) to record our 10th studio album with Grammy Award winning producer Ben Tanner at two legendary studios: FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Heroes like Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, the Stones, Leon Russell, the Black Keys and hundreds of other legendary artists recorded world-renowned albums at these studios.

You can really feel some kind of rock 'n roll magic in the air there. Right when we played our first notes there we got goosebumps: here was that sound we've been hearing on all those classic albums! This definitely was one of the best recording experiences we've ever had. Even the grand piano Leon Russell used was still there, just like the electric Wurlitzer piano that was used on "I Never Loved A Man" by Aretha Franklin.

So it will come as no surprise that this new album shows influences of the rich musical history that was literally written in those same studios 50 years ago. But still, DeWolff will always sound like DeWolff: a fiery wayward steam engine blasting right through its own time zone, leaving you spellbound and speechless at the crossroads of blues, soul, psychedelic and southern rock, with a Dutch twist!

Album release party is set for December 7th at our own DeWolffest and directly after we'll embark on a new European tour 🤪

Pues a ver qué tal, que me inicié con ellos con el anterior disco y me gustó bastante.

Confirmado el nuevo disco: "Muscle Shoals" (el mítico estudio dónde lo grabaron), para el 6 de diciembre.

No me ha hecho demasiado tilín el adelanto y no sé si me convencerá el disco si van por ese rollo, pero veremos.

No es su mejor tema, pero tampoco el peor. El disco imagino que tendrá mucho de blues, soul... que es lo que característico en los Fame Studios dónde lo han grabado. Vamos, que también es lo que vienen haciendo ellos desde hace ya unos cuantos discos por no decir toda la vida

Nuevo single. Me suena a como me gustaría a lo que sonaran los Black Keys actuales.

Último single antes de que salga el disco mañana (en un par de horas, vaya).

El disco el problema que tiene es que se hace largo. Pero haciendo lo que hacen son bastante buenos y se pueden rescatar algunos temas.

El anterior también era largo y aunque igual le sobraba algún tema, creo que tenía mejores canciones. Este nuevo, quitando lo de que lo han grabado en Muscle Shoals, tampoco tiene nada que no hayan hecho nada. Es un buen disco, pero otro más dentro de su discografía. Tiene al menos cuatro que me parecen mejores que este.

Yo creo que es eso, que este se me ha hecho más largo que el anterior porque en comparación considero que es peor.

We have some VERY exciting news to share with y'all! On December 4th we'll be releasing a brand new EP and you can preorder it NOW!

Our new EP "Fuego!" is a tribute to the songs and artists that helped shape us ever since the early days of DeWolff. Instead of writing new tunes, we went back to a handful of (many, many) songs that lit the spark. The deep cuts that shaped who we are as musicians and as a band. These six songs (or actually eight, because the last one is a 10 minute medley comprising 3 songs) may not be particularly well known, but to us they’re priceless classics. Each one of them taught us something: about groove, about songwriting, about soul or the power of a gritty guitar tone or a heartfelt voice that just hits you in the gut.

Yes, you read that right: we asked the great Joe Bonamassa -a big Little Feat fan himself: he even purchased Lowell George's mythical Dumble guitar amplifier last year- if he wanted to play a solo on this crazy song and he said YES! The result is absolutely spectacular.

We recorded and mixed these songs over 4 days -from 27 until 30 October 2025- at our own Electrosaurus Studio in Maastricht (Joe recorded his solo at Ocean Way Studio Nashville) and they were mastered by Adi Flück in Bern, Switzerland. All the artwork was done by Pablo & Luka's brother Vince van de Poel! This EP will be available on 12" vinyl, CD and cassette!

Road to Azkena Rock Festival: DeWolff e Israel Nash pasarán por Madrid como aperitivo del festival

El próximo 30 de mayo, La Riviera de Madrid acogerá un doble concierto con DeWolff como cabeza de cartel e Israel Nash como artista invitado, dentro de Road to Azkena Rock Festival, una cita pensada como antesala del festival y como punto de encuentro para quienes comparten su espíritu rock&roll. Una noche concebida para compartir escenario, contexto y energía con algunos de los nombres que forman parte de la historia y el presente del festival. Las entradas saldrán a la venta el 22 de diciembre a las 11h en lasttour.org

DeWolff llegarán a Madrid con su gira Tentacle Roulette, un recorrido que reúne una selección de las mejores canciones de sus diez discos de estudio. El trío neerlandés ha construido un sonido propio en el cruce entre el blues rock sureño, la psicodelia y el soul, con una intensidad que los ha convertido en una de las bandas más celebradas del circuito europeo. Hemos podido disfrutar de su directo en Azkena Rock Festival 2022 y volverán a deleitarnos en la próxima edición. Además de este repaso a su carrera, el grupo ha presentado recientemente FUEGO!, un EP de versiones publicado como homenaje a las canciones y artistas que han definido su identidad musical.

Como artista invitado y asiduo del Azkena Rock Festival, Israel Nash se suma a esta fecha especial para celebrar el décimo aniversario de Rain Plans, el disco que marcó un punto de inflexión en su carrera, y del que se editará una edición deluxe que recupera material inédito. Este aniversario llega acompañado de un momento especialmente prolífico para el artista estadounidense, que ha anunciado además el lanzamiento de dos nuevos álbumes: Moods, un trabajo instrumental que amplía su paleta sonora, y una reinterpretación personal de Sweetheart Of The Rodeo de The Byrds, llevada a su propio lenguaje creativo.
