Lo nuevo de Anathema

pero que discazo

Ya tengo la edición maja. Preciosa. A juego con las reediciones de Porcupine.

Aquí os dejo mi crítica del disco.

Pues a mí me parece el más flojo de los últimos, A Fine Day to Exit y A Natural Disaster me parecen demasiado redondos y el feeling va más conmigo. Lo que no quita que sea un disco precioso y que A Simpe Mistake me parezca lo mejor que ha compuesto la banda.

A Fine Day to Exit lo disfruté mucho cuando apareció, pero por alguna razón me acabó cansando y ahora lo veo como el menos inspirado que han hecho.
A Natural Disaster sí que me parece un gran álbum, pero para mi el último lo supera.

A mí es que desde Alternative 4 me gustan todos un montón, pero este nuevo la verdad es que lo estoy disfrutando especialmente y eso que todavía lo tengo pendinte de eschar en 5.1 que ya debe ser el no va más.

Al final me mandaron 2 copias de burning shed, a ver que pasa al final.

A mi tambien me parece un gran disco,me gusta más que a fine day to exit,aunque quizás algo menos que alternative 4 o judgement.

Canciones como universal o dreaming light me parecieron magnificas desde la primera escucha.

Bueno, este debate tiene fácil solución.

NUEVO DISCO EN SEPTIEMBRE

Bueno mas o menos...viene a ser un Hindsight pero centrado en sus primeros discos....



Falling Deeper continues where Hindsight left off. The album features brand new arrangements of songs and haunting melodies from our earliest days. It’s a mesmerising blend of the orchestral - majestic and at times ethereal - with beautiful vocal arrangements and our unique 'feedback' lead guitars, all centred around a grand piano and a huge rhythm section. All the layers work together to convey the haunting internal landscapes Anathema have become renowned for.

This is an album which we hope will excite old and new Anathema fans equally. A fresh musical and lyrical approach has transformed songs such as Crestfallen, Kingdom and Sunset Of Age. This record reveals how, even from the very start, the band wrote melodies which would always have a universal magic and emotional impact.

Another highlight of the album, Everwake, features the incredible voice of Anneke van Giersbergen and has brought a higher dimension to one of the band’s earliest and simplest acoustic pieces.

The record has been produced by Daniel Cavanagh and was recorded and mixed by Andrea Wright at the legendary Parr St Studios, Liverpool (where the likes of Elbow, Coldplay and Echo and the Bunnymen have also recorded albums). The orchestral arrangements are from Dave Stewart who worked so successfully with Anathema on We’re Here Because We’re Here.

Falling Deeper, in the words of Daniel Cavanagh, is:
‘’a nod to our past and a look to our future all at the same time, with a sound that is designed to transport you to the heart of the present moment.’’

Me lo tiro!

Ostia una version acustica de canciones como "Sleepless", "They (always) die", "Silent Enigma" o "A Dying Wish" puede ser un pajote de proporciones gigantescas!!!!!!

Que ganazas de que salga!!!!!!!! :D:D (fap, fap, fap ...)

Yo le he escuchado tocar A Silent Enigma en acústico. De cualquier modo, no me parece interesante. ¿Sabéis a qué suena? A una ejcusa para poder tocar temas viejos de forma tranqui porque están hartos de que la gente se los pida en directo.

Hombre, puede ser xDDD pero a mi me interesa ver sus canciones primerizas, las mas doometas, en acustico, creo que pueden ser muy resultonas

Bastante pobre el listado de temas. Esperaba más, la verdad.

La verdad es que sí que es algo pobre en cuanto a cantidad, me alegra mucho que toquen "Alone", es de mis favoritas aunque ya es acústica de por si

De todas formas lo sigo esperando con bastante ansia
