Pigs - (UNSANE, JJ PLAYER'S CLUB) / Noise Rock , Metal / DD

Llevaba unos días detrás de esto mas que nada por las referencias de la gente que lo componen, el bajista de Unsane y uno de los miembros de otro de los grupos en los que toca Chris; guitarrista de Unsane; y por dos temas que tenían en el bandcamp y cual a sido mi sorpresa que me encuentro un email del sello con un enlace para bajar el disco y su permiso para publicarlo en el blog.

La verdad es que recuerdan a Unsane bastante y con un sonidaco bastante gordo, aunque sin sonar tan oxidados, anyway, cojonudo.

The sound? PIGS sound like the last forty-five minutes of that interminable haul from Portland to San Francisco when both patience and air conditioning are long gone; like a petty, early-morning drunken argument in a gravel parking lot about the stupid, impossible math of how to divide forty-one dollars three ways; like when the left rear bearing on the van that’s been squealing and then grinding for days finally gets hot enough to weld itself into the axle and the ancient Detroit Deathtrap grates to a final, shuddering halt. Pigs sound like three guys who have played countless shows in many bands for a couple of decades in several dozen countries and still can’t leave it alone.

Muy bueno, y lo mejor, es justamente lo que me apetece escuchar ahora mismo. Cojonudo.

TEMAZO "Give it", no sé si es porque he estado escuchando a los Blooming Látigo pero el principio me recuerda mucho su rollo. Uno de esos raros temas en los que vislumbras una lógica interna aplastante. Cremón.

a mi también me esta gustando bastante el disco, seguramente acabe comprándomelo si no salen muy caros los gastos de envío desde francia
