Graveyard - Lights out

"Graveyard have released the artwork to their third studio album, LIGHTS OUT. The new release is due out in Europe on October 26th and in North America on November 6th.

“The cover is something completely different than the last cover,” states the band. “Our goal was that both the title and the cover would sum up the feeling of the album. And just to make things clear, LIGHTS OUT is not a reference to either UFO or ENTOMBED… even though both are excellent bands.”



GRAVEYARD have announced various details about the bands upcoming new single release, 'GOLIATH.'

'GOLIATH' comes off GRAVEYARD's highly anticipated next album, LIGHT'S OUT, due October 26th (EU) and November 6, 2012 (NA) via Nuclear Blast Records.

The 'GOLIATH' single will be released September 21, 2012 as digital download and on 7“ vinyl. The release will include a special non-album track, "Leaving You."

The 7“ vinyl version will be issued in four different colors, featuring four different cover artworks!

Commented the band: "The lyrics deal with the feeling that everyday life is a constant David vs. Goliath scene. You all know the story and the scene. You look around, get pissed off and want to "stick it to the man." Musically it has many influences. And as usual we've tried to get it both heavy and swinging at the same time. So why don't you just shake your record collecting old ass to the beat of the new tune from your favourite Swedish numbskulls?“

After the stunning cover for HISINGEN BLUES, the entire community is eagerly awaiting the new album's artwork. La portada como que un poco peor, no?

Como boceto es cojonuda, conceptualmente también, pero es eso...un boceto.

Sin tener en cuenta que es una perdida de dieron ya que no puedes reproducirla en camisetas o pósters, porque quien cojones la va a querer....pero bueno, lo importante estará en el contenido.

He abierto un post porque no le veía sentido a seguir hablando del nuevo disco en el post del disco anterior, si hubiese sido un hilo de la banda em general...

La portada es una puta mierda. Después de 2 discazos con 2 super-portadas ( las mejores en muchísimo tiempo), esta da pena.....

Espero que por lo menos sea 1 puto discazo.

Para mí, demasiado directa, me gustaban más las progresiones en el tempo que caracterizan el anterior disco aunque es solo una canción, y muy cortita por cierto, 2minutos 49 segundos.

I si no he entendido mal tienen que revelear una nueva portada pronto...quizas debido a la pésima acogida de la anterior....

Pues a mi me ha encantado. En "Hisinge Blues" ya había un par de canciones asi, directas y al grano... ya habrá más en las que se anden por las ramas.
