Dropkick Murphys - Signed And Sealed In Blood (2013)

El próxiomo 8 de enero (son previsores estos chavales) saldrá el nuevo disco de Dropkick Murphys. Se llamará "Signed And Sealed In Blood". Para el artwork y el primer videoclip están pidiendo la ayuda de sus fans, nada más y nada menos que haciendose un tatuaje del la portada del nuevo disco...

Hey everybody -

We've been hard at work here in Boston, finishing the new album. It's titled SIGNED AND SEALED IN BLOOD — which is a lyric from our new song ROSE TATTOO.

The song and its imagery have given us an idea that will include many of you... we hope!!!

In the past, you (the best fans on earth) have taken so much pride in your connection to the band and shown us such loyalty and love that it has always inspired and reminded us how lucky we are.

Often times the ultimate expression of that dedication is Tattooing a bands logo on oneself. We are fortunate enough to have seen many of those throughout the world and it's the best feeling ever.

Right now, we need YOUR help as we finish the album artwork and make our first video for the song ROSE TATTOO....

If any of you would do us the honor of wearing the SIGNED AND SEALED IN BLOOD logo with the band name, album title and/or Rose Tattoo lyrics incorporated in it, we will include photos of your work in our CD and Vinyl art and on our website. If you take video in addition to photos we will incorporate that in the new music video.

Here's what we need you to do:

• Read the lyrics to "Rose Tattoo"
• Get yourself a tattoo of the new 'SIGNED and SEALED in BLOOD' DKM Logo
• During the process take photos and shoot video
• Send it all in along with info on yourself (optional) and on the tattoo shop and artist that did your work
• THE SOONER YOU GET YOUR PHOTO OR VIDEO TO US, THE BETTER CHANCE OF YOUR INCLUSION IN THE ARTWORK!
• DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS SEPTEMBER 19, 2012!

We will look at each and every submission... Your photos will be used in the CD and Vinyl artwork, and in the ROSE TATTOO music video that will come out this fall—we love you guys and hope you join us and take part in the final steps of what we guarantee is by far and away the greatest record we've ever done !!!!!!!!

By the way, you'll be the first to know the album release details as soon as we have everything worked out.... Stay tuned!

¡Qué rapidez en sacar disco nuevo! Será bueno sin duda. Esperando sus temas nuevos

Lo de tatuarse no lo veo. ¡Están colgaos!

Lo del tattoo es una locura, pero fijo que más de uno lo hace.

Justo acabo de ver el vídeo. Para fans. Todo tatuajes. La canción está muy bienm. Suena a ellos sin aburrir.

No me había enterado ni de que tenían disco en el horizonte. A mí el último disco de esta gente me parece maná, me da alegría para vivir.

Los dos adelantos que hay de momento son más "suaves" de lo que acostumbran, pero fijo que el resto del disco siguen sonando a ellos.

Me ha gustado. Tanto el vídeo como la letra del tema son bastante simpáticos y entrañables.

Y que tiene de malo el anterior? A mi me parece un discazo, como todos vamos... el nuevo va a tener sus partes punks, hazme caso.

El último era muy bueno, pero The Warrior's Code me encanta también... yo no veo que tengan ni un solo disco malo. Aparte de que siempre hacen el mismo rollo. Somo como los AC/DC o los Bad Religion punk-folk.

Creo que ya rula el disco.
