Perfectamente éste es el post más arduo y personal que he escrito.
Proyecto de una sola persona, T. R. Anderson, de Minnesota. Su propuesta es clara: funeral doom con tintes ambientales y temática anclada en la Naturaleza como deidad.
The music contained on the album not only ventures into the harsh emotions of doom, but the beauty and grandness of nature. Recordings of water flowing gently down stream, birds singing their enigmatic songs, everything pure and innocent against yearning screams, pounded drums and mystic drones. It’s very repetitive, but in a completely hypnotic way. The album furthermore embraces its uniqueness, without worrying about staying trve to genre categories. And while it generally remains doom, it is admittedly quite soft, perhaps one of the few metal albums that can lull you into a hypnagogic state. So for those who dream of waterfalls hidden in the depths of ancient, forgotten forests, that cry out in pain, this album is absolutely perfect for you. It has some influence from Agalloch even since one of the members is involved with it.
Más claro, imposible. Sonido único.
