Yo creo que casi todas las personas que conozco han oído algo de Metallica. Por contra, me costaría horrores encontrar a alguien que sepa quiénes son Avenged Sevenfold. En todo caso, a todos nos pasa a veces. Confundimos nuestro mundo con el mundo

Pero es que además no creéis que sería al revés? Es decir, de superar a alguno no sería primero a Maiden (Metallica me parecen muchísimo más populares fuera del público "entendido")?

Tal cual. Aparte de que Maiden están muy por encima de Avenged en cuando a beneficios/seguimiento, los británicos a su vez no llegan al nivel de Metallica. Pero bueno supongo que estas esclarecedoras conclusiones se basan en el determinante hecho de que Avenged tienen más seguidores en Facebook que Maiden.

Me parece una basura. Ni se han molestado en remasterizar. Lo mismo de siempre con un disco lleno de demos y directos. Y un dvd de 30 min. guau.

1. They’ve Hit The Big Time
Avenged Sevenfold are still growing, there’s enough evidence for this, one being the fact that they’re the latest band to break through and be Download Festival headliners. The band aren’t going to be content with where they’ve reached and will want to continue to grow and become one of the biggest bands of our generation. To help them reach that Avenged are going to have to keep churning out fantastic albums, with tracks that people can really sing along to and ultimately mosh to. There is no point in time when they don’t have to put in 110% into everything.

2. ‘Hail To The King’ Proves They’re Versatile

There were a number of complaints that ‘Hail To The King’ was “too similar to Iron Maiden or Metallica’. I can’t see how that’s a problem to anyone… That’s like someone looks too much like Scarlett Johansson or Brad Pitt. There are no negatives to those statements. Fair enough there needs to be a sense of individuality in some cases, but ‘Hail To The King’ was proof that they can branch out from their original sound and become a bit more ‘classic rock’ and ultimately crowd friendly tracks.

3. ‘Waking The Fallen’ Could Influence Their Writing

With the reissue of ‘Waking The Fallen’ this could be an indicator as to what they’re hoping will be the sound of their new album. Avenged can quite easily go a bit heavier with their new album and move back to the sound of their classic album. There would be no Avenged Sevenfold fan alive that doesn’t love that album, and each and every one of them would be in full support of nodding back to the album that made the band famous.

4. Synyster Gates

Everytime this man gets a hold of a guitar, its like listening to a little piece of heaven (see what I did there… I’ll get my coat). He has always been a phenomenal guitarist, and every single album seems to refine his guitar tones and solos a little more. His solos can be mind blowing within themselves. There are others that will say “so and so is a better guitarist for this reason” but we don’t care, it’s not even been a case of he’s evolved over time, he’s been a fantastic guitarist since ‘Sounding The Seventh Trumpet‘ and he’s merely refined over time. We can’t wait to see what other tricks he has tucked under his belt.

5. Its Avenged Sevenfold!

The band now have 6 albums worth of experience locked away, experience which they can take inspiration from whenever they can. They know what they want to sound like, and the direction they want to take. We need to trust that they know what they’re doing by now, and that what they’re going to do with that experience and that talent is to churn out some more fantastic tracks!

Me alegra mucho leer eso de lo que comentan en el punto 3, sobre que en un futuro nuevo disco volverán al sonido del Waking The Fallen... porque el último disco hacia aguas por todas partes....quiero temas dignos de llevar el apellido Sevenfold y no p̶l̶a̶g̶i̶o̶s̶ "canciones" homenajeando a sus ídolos.
