Parece que se quieren dar prisa en "olvidar" el Temper Temper, album con el cual no tengo ningun problema.

BFMV’s Matt Tuck at Download last year

Bullet For My Valentine have wasted no time in recording a follow-up to last year’s ill-received Temper Temper.

With the band seemingly going in a much heavier direction for album number five, Matt and Moose have revealed that a batch of songs are already completed and are following in the footsteps of recent single, Raising Hell.

“We’ve done five songs so far, and they’re sounding very good,” says Matt. “I don’t know how to explain it, really… It’s definitely more aggressive, edgier. It’s definitely stepping back into the heavier side of what we’ve done in the past. And I don’t mean that as in, like, a screaming way… just aggressive music, you know.

“When we’re in the dressing room just writing, just playing guitar, a riff will come out and we’ll be, ‘Oh, that’s cool. Let’s continue that.’ So we’ll record a little bit of it. It’s very natural. As soon as we get, like, two songs kind of finished, like we did with Raising Hell and the other five, the wheels are set in motion; it becomes obvious where we need to go.”

On the less-than positive reaction that greeted their last album, Matt adds:

“I wouldn’t change that record for anything, really. That’s the record we wanted to make, and that’s what we should be doing; we should be doing what we want, and we shouldn’t be trying to please anyone else. If the next album we write doesn’t get well received for whatever reason, then it’s, like… you can’t do things for other people. We’ve gotta do it for ourselves, and that’s the only way we can stay true as a band. I think a rule that we’ve always stuck by since Day One was we do it our way and we do it what we wanna do or we don’t do it at all. I think someone else fucking up your career is not acceptable. So if we fuck it up, at least you can sleep at night, you know what I mean? So we’re extremely happy with it, and here we are today still rocking big venues around the world. So we [must be doing] something right, you know?!”

Ellos mismos deben de haberse dado cuenta de lo mierdolo que es el "Temper, Temper" (y eso que tiene 2 temas que me molan) y por eso se han dado prisa en ponerse manos a la obra con un nuevo trabajo.

El adelanto y fichar como productor a Terry Date da esperanzas de ver algo parecido a sus 2 primeros discos.

Caramba, este tema suena incluso bastante bien... a ver si remontan el vuelo después de dos pastelazos importantes.

A ver si se parece un poco a scream aim fire, para mi su mejor disco de calle.

He recuperado el hype en BFMV tras enterarme por su Facebook que su nuevo disco lo esta produciendo Colin Richardson quien ya grabo con ellos el aclamado Scream Aim Fire y viendo que lo ultimo que sacaron fue Raising Hell ...puede salir algo decente de aqui si o si. Supongo que Colin les pondrá las pilas.

Por lo pronto se va de conciertos jaja

Recording sessions for Bullet For My Valentine‘s new album have officially kicked off today, February 01st.

The band are once again working with producer/mixer Colin Richardson (Carcass, Machine Head) and producer Carl Brown on the album and offered the following of it:

“So, today is the day.

We’ve been working hard on this record for over a year now, writing and demoing a ton of material in that time. As we sit here on the 1st of February 2015, we have the most songs we’ve EVER had written for an album before recording session, and now begins the difficult process of choosing the best of the best of them to make the cut for #BFMV5

Going into this process, we couldn’t be more happy or excited to have our man Colin Richardson back behind the desk again. We worked with Colin on our first two records, ‘The Poison‘ and ‘Scream Aim Fire‘ (as well as the self titled’ BFMV’ EP) and as we listened back to those records during the writing process for this new album, we realised what a special vibe and excitement these records have, and why they’re held in such high respect by our fanbase.

This album, though, is not about going backwards. We’re excited to work with Colin again, but equally excited to be working with Carl Bown for the first time, who we consider the most exciting new British record producer out there right now, and the guy to help take this Bullet record to exciting new places.
