“Mortal Coil” is Dödsrit's third full-length, featured on a yet short career though wholly filled with soul drenching moments. Featuring four tracks, Dödsrit's "Mortail Coil" hails the smothering ashes of purgatory's flames by forging a wall of soultearing riffing, blistering belligerence conjoining melody with aggression, a genuine blaze of cacophony and heart wrenching melancholy.

Me han atraído estos dos grupos. El primero porque me gusta mucho esa mezcla que tienen entre distintos subgéneros, que puede sonar guay, y el segundo porque hay potencial de ser un disco interesante si hacen evolucionar un poco más el resto de las canciones.

It took only one listen for me to wholly embrace this five-track attack. It provides an engaging and notably dynamic amalgam of styles that (as I hear it) includes crust, psychedelia, a strong flavoring of the supernatural, and above all a particularly sinister form of old school death metal.

The Circle is a trio from Hamelin, Germany. Rattling off a series of tags ranging from post-black metal, melodic death metal, and art metal, while boasting ambiguous artwork and strange promo pics, it’s difficult to get a surefire answer from first glance for their first outing Metamorphosis. Melodrama is a clear priority, as influences of Swallow the Sun, Dimmu Borgir, Fleshgod Apocalypse, and Raintime are clear upon first listen: symphonic textures emphasizing mountainous doom- and death-influenced riffs, waves of blastbeats, and dichotomous vocals, while quirky melodies and shredding solos hop along for the ride.

El de BigBrave está guay. A veces demasiado lento para mí gusto, pero es disfrutable.

The comparisons listed in the press kit include Dead Congregation, Krypts and Engulfed among more adored acts, not only is this what drew my attention but the duo certainly deliver this high quality, creepy and yet barbaric Death Metal brilliantly.

Sacan disco Amenra. Ahora Caro de Oathbreaker forma parte de la banda.

Me flipan Amenra, y además ahora con la incorporación de Caro (me chiflan Oathbreaker) directamente es uno de mis discos más esperados del año. Hype es poco, pero no quiero escuchar nada hasta el 25 de junio.

Visions of Trismegistos is a long-awaited metal assault, bringing forth the spirit of old metal once again. Recorded in Chaka Khan Studio and various locations around Oslo by the members of NEKROMANTHEON themselves using mostly old, analog equipment to get that warm, genuine sound, Visions of Trismegistos feels like a lost opus from the glory days of the '80s, when thrash, death, and black metal were merged into one unholy trinity. Yet, it is a fresh and vital testament of a band at the height of their abilities who stand out amongst their peers.

Their second album, Zwart Vierkant, is breathtaking in its breadth and independence, dazzling in its ambition and utterly enthralling and all consuming in its complexity of vision.

Muy sólido este disco. ¿Tienen que ser unos neerlandeses los que vengan a saber imbricar bien cierta sensibilidad andalusí en una propuesta de black metal? Pues debe ser que sí. Aunque la mayor parte del tiempo me recuerden a los Pensées Nocturnes más trasnochados y caóticos.
