Está guapo el de
Hecatoncheir.
Since the conception of the band, APPARITION has been about creating an individualized version of death metal, all the while paying homage to its ancestors. “Disgraced Emanations From A Tranquil State” offers a dynamic range, from the brutal to the beautiful. A still expanding glimpse into the APPARITION cannon. A lathe of infinite death remaking itself—horrific and pristine.
No conocía a
Where Death / Doom may often stay in safe and unadventerous realms of narrow focus, Maze Envy’ presents a more far-reaching breadth of ambition, where unusual technicality, progressive atmospheres, string flourishes and chaotic mysticism radiate a purple light of the soul’s ascension from the black oceans of dread Civerous inhabit. Chain-dragging dirge, blackened blasting, and the savage ferocity of Lord Foul’s hellish vocal exorcisms exalt ‘Mazy Envy’ with a hellish grandeur within its myriad paths to oblivion.
Now, after 20 years, BRODEQUIN have returned with ‘Harbinger of Woe’. Their long-awaited fourth album does not disappoint, either. Lead single “Of Pillars and Trees” is classic BRODEQUIN. The riffs churn severed limbs through a meat grinder. New drummer Brennan Shackelford pings his cymbals with all the murderous intent of a spiked mace. Heck, the death growls are nasty enough to make you think that Jamie is sucking the blood of his enemies through a straw! At long last, BRODEQUIN are back to reclaim their crown.
Hideous Divinity's latest album is a profound exploration of existential paradoxes and cosmic fear. The tracks weave a narrative tapestry of technical death metal, where the divine horror of numinous life intersects with humanity's futile sovereignty. The band's technical prowess amplifies a chilling theme: the awakening to a reality where existence is a cycle of being born to die and rise anew amidst the ruins of fallen ideologies. Each song is a eulogy, a reflection on the betrayal by our will to live, urging listeners to embrace the courage to confront the unnamable, unthinkable forces that dictate our ephemeral existence. This is not just music; it's a philosophical inquiry set to the relentless cadence of death metal, inviting us to ponder the "Mysterium Tremendum" of life itself. Be ready to embrace the divine horror with Unextinct!
